I was able to drop in and get a rental unit in less than 10 minutes. The person who waited on me was Jean Price. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything in detail. She showed me my clean space, gave me a lock and key, and let me set me code and verified it worked to get into property. ... Read more

Well it’s not a bad place but in the year I was there the prices went up twice and y’all be very very careful and read the fine print because you have to give a 15 day notice to move out so you can get your deposit. Or they can prorate it for you and pay a half a month then you might get your deposit. I would never ever ever get a storage from them again!!!!!!!! ... Read more

I have been waiting to get my deposit back since November 2024. I have contacted them several times. Still no deposit. The check was list in the mail. It was never cashed. They refuse to give me my $400 deposit back after I had to move out because the property manager told me that I could only be at my unit for a few minutes at a time knowing full well that I had a 15x50’ unit filled from top to bottom that I needed to organize in order to find my things. They take your rent, and deposit but don’t allow you access to your belongings if it takes you more than five minutes to retrieve it. So the 12 pick up truck loads of my belongings that I moved in the last week of September had to be moved back out in November. Not to mention the rat that was in my unit when i moved in stayed dead and rotting the entire time i rented the unit because it fell under “not my problem” when I brought it to the property managers attention. It is march 2025 and I still don't have my deposit from last year. ... Read more

Looks are especially deceiving when it comes to this place. We rented a 10x30 unit in January, we were never told that we needed to have flood insurance on our unit. Come to find out through many other people this place has flooded multiple times before and the owner is very aware of it. Our unit flooded in May of 2024. We lost $30k in furniture and multiple in unreplacable keepsakes. Also buildings A, B, C, D, E, F and.G flooded as well. I can show you emails that state this. Come to find out from a previous employee and a the current project manager that the storm drains are clogged up with debris from the original construction and previous storms. The owner is refusing to do anything for us or anyone else that lost their belongings other than to provide dumpsters to remove your now wet and ruined property. The owner is also a very well known professional basketball player, his name is Hakeem Olajuwon. He made millions of dollars off of the people of Houston and now off the people of Mont Belvieu. As far as I’m concerned and many others in the area. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! He is only interested in himself and the money and doesn’t care one bit about his tenants. He also owns several other properties in the area. ... Read more

The prices have went up and good customer service has went down. The lady who runs the office is very unprofessional. I heard her screaming at a customer about being evicted. I thought that was very unprofessional. I felt bad for the customer. Then she came over to me screaming and accusing me of asking someone for the gate code. The customer that was screamed at said she was the one asking for the code. I really miss Ms. Sheri the previous property manager. The current manager acts like a psycho. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
