Amazing storage facility! I had to store some things since I was moving out, and stumbled on this iStorage by accident and was pleasantly surprised. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of service you get and all the amenities you get. Customer service was great Benjamin and Megan really went out of their way to accommodate my urgent needs as well as explaining what I would be getting for the price. Overall it is a great location if you need to store some stuff. ... Read more

Pleasen give better training to the uhaul/Istore manager, located at 2900 N Alexander Dr, Baytown, TX 77521 she is by far the rudest person ever. I ask her for help 2 times because I was having issues checking in and uploading pictures on the uhaul app, everytime I ask her a question she replied with "Oh no we don't do that here, you can do everything online and get the key from the keybox" awful service. Then the truck I got the fuel level needle doesn't move at all while pumping gas unless you put the vehicle on drive and start driving then the fuel needle moves, so that caused for me to fill the thank to full and according to uhaul customer service, supposedly after their Istorage manager is done inspecting the truck I am getting credit for the extra gasoline I pump in their uhaul truck but I doubt it with their poor customer service and unprofessional on-site manager I wouldn't expect anything good from her or even uhaul customer service. ... This place is a complete joke. Do NOT store your belongings at iStorage on Alexander Dr. My unit was broken into, and when I went to the manager, Megan, all she could say was, “The cameras facing your building are the only ones that don’t work, but there’s a work order in.” Seriously? That’s unacceptable. Then she claimed the thieves got in through the back fence, but when I went to look, there was zero damage. Nothing added up, and she clearly didn’t care. I also paid extra every month for a climate-controlled unit, and guess what? No A/C for the entire year. Just more empty promises: “There’s a work order in.” That’s her go-to line for everything. I lost thousands of dollars in stolen property, and this facility has done nothing to make it right. No real answers, no security, no functioning cameras where it matters, and absolutely no accountability from management. This place is unsafe, mismanaged, and a complete waste of money. Stay far away. ... Read more

Had my unit broken 2 times in a year and a few other people as well have been hit more times. They had this problem from what i can tell for a while. The nice employee helped me with changing my unit somewhere more secure and i greatly appreciate that. So i didn't give a one star review for that reason alone. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
