This place is absolute trash, avoid at all costs. The gate code barely works, takes forever to open. They keep upping the rent every several months without notice. The real issue is that whenever you stay past 9pm, as a paying customer, they will literally not open the gate. I had to leave my car overnight, and take an uber to my place, and back there at 6am. Stupidest bullshit Ive been through in a long time. Locking a paying customers car inside their establishment, who actually thinks thats ok? Its not. And…last but not least…(yes it gets even worse). They will NOT prorate the rest of what you paid for that month after you move out. I don’t even know how you’re supposed to not get charged, because I informed them previously before I got charged that I would be moving out in the future, yet they still told me that they wouldn’t prorate my account back. This whole place is a literal scam. STAY AWAY Also I noticed most of the positive reviews are either very vague, or from people first starting service here. Most of the bad reviews is the actual real state of how they do business here. Just putting that out there. ... Read more

I called to get an idea what the storage size was. This location typically does not have a full-Time attendant. I called the number on the kiosk door: got a nice person to set me up with a reservation to see the property. Robert met me less than 1 hour after and was super nice and showed me what I needed. I will be renting at this location and give them kudos for their customer service. ... Read more

Robert was a huge help in helping me with what second larger storage unit I should reserve. He definitely knows his stuff. Thanks Robert!!! Editing to add my EXTREME DISMAY after my experience today!!! I had reserved my unit two weeks ago. I went to look at it last Saturday and was pleased by what I thought I had found. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED ROBERT if I needed to pay that day to lock in my reservation. He said no, just pay when you arrive next Saturday (today). Imagine arriving with a paid moving crew and a fully loaded truck only to find that the unit you reserved weeks ago had been rented!!!! I am not new to storage units so this really sent me!!!! In addition there was no one on site to speak with only a video call from some lady on the kiosk telling me that my reservation didn’t mean the unit was mine!!! Robert was nowhere to be found. I was left to scramble to find something, anything comparable, but in the end I was SOL. I was forced to return my things to the original unit. The whole purpose of my move was to consolidate and to be able to move around in my unit to be able to start pairing down, as well as to lower the cost of my two units I am currently paying for!!! My time and my money were wasted today with ZERO resolution!!! Ericka did her best to help and got the brunt of my anger, but there was nothing she could do. Once I find a new unit to rent in the next few days I will NEVER rent nor recommend PUBLIC STORAGE to anyone!!! If I could give zero stars the way they gave zero Fs about my reservation I would!!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 4101 North Josey Lane has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 4101 North Josey Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 4101 North Josey Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $41 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $221 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
