Outrageous price increase! My mom's unit does NOT have power. No lights or electrical outlet. Not climate controlled. However her monthly payment has increased more then double with the new ownership. The facility its self is great. Doesn't leak or flood, no rodents. ... Read more

I can’t say enough good things about College Park Mini storage! I have rented 3 units over the last year and returned or rented U-Haul trucks from here. Amy has taken VERY good care of me and my family. We moved from Dallas and had some pretty crazy move days but Amy has always helped relieve the stress. I also love their Storage Defender program. There is a motion sensor in all units and when you open the door to the unit the motion sensor is activated, and you are sent a text message to make sure it is you in the unit. They are the best and a great location. Kuddos to Amy and College Park Mini Storage!! ... Read more

My mom had a storage there for about 2 decades. Finally decided nobody in the family needed the old furniture anymore so we donated it all. I rented a U-Haul from them because they are an authorized dealer. We did the donation and dropped the U-Haul back off with them. She was able to cancel her storage unit with them with no problems. The front desk management was helpful and nice. Sad to no longer be a customer of them, but happy to give high praise for our overall experience. Being there ~20 years, we only experienced increases in unit price beginning a few years back, which I’m sure was due to Covid and general inflation that has been pretty bad lately. But that’s business, and we were impressed that they were able to keep their prices lower for a long time. Thank you. ... Read more

I have been here for over 4 years. New Management took over about 2 years ago. The price of my unit went from $149 to $221 in less than 18 months. I have never been late or had any issues. These people never seem to be in the office and the climate control feels uncomfortably warm at times since new management. They told me they raised $52 this month alone because taxes are going up. Taxes go up because property values go up but property values are finally coming down. I will be moving out very soon if the price is not reduced. I read some answers to reviews saying they have done improvements. I see no improvements. Quite the contrary. They told a reviewer to stop by the office and they will tell you why they are raising rent so aggressively? I doubt they would even be there if you did. I would think twice before moving into this place. Your rent will likely be much higher in a short period of time. ... Read more

They keep raising their rates every 6 months, I am now paying almost $40 more than when I started with them about a year ago. I did have to pay late one month and I called ahead to let them know. They had overlocked my unit, as expected, but they didn't remove it after I paid the balance and I had to wait about 30 minutes to finally get the office person to unlock it when I needed to get into it, long after I had paid. I'm just lucky it was during business hours. If I could, I would move to another storage center. ... Read more
