The property manager was super helpful and detailed with everything. She explained the cost and advised even the small things such as exactly how to get to my unit the easiest and why they put a sticker on the lock you choose to use for your unit. ... Read more

STAY AWSY FROM THIS PLACE!! I have two 10x15 units after 2nd month they raised my rent on one unit from $85.00 to.$115.00 and just got another notice that my other unit is going from $135.00 to $172.00. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I have rented here several times throughout the last 3 years and I never ever was treated like this and I hope if others have move out and move on. That's what I am fixing to do. They are going to increase their way out of business. Which is what they deserve. Had my first account set up on auto-pay and when I called and talked to Maya to set up auto-pay for my second account which was a different due date, she somehow changed both dates to auto - pay on the same date which threw my first payment passed due. Had to call customer service because no one is ever in the office to answer the phone or on property to talk too only to find out what happened and in the mean time my phone was blowing up with the ugly message and emails about "you are passed due and haven't paid your rent" when I finally found Maya in the office and confronted her she just shrugged her shoulders when I told her what she did and Kenny said " well I can waive your late fees" WOW. Really glad you could waive my late fees. Hopefully you want have to deal with the Area Manager. She's rude and lies. Had a HORRIBLE experience with renting a U-haul there and she was supposed to call me back with answers as to what happened to date I have never heard a word from her. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am sure there are better prices and management elsewhere in Conroe. BAD BAD business practices and they don't offer you anything for their OUTRAGEOUS AND RIDICULOUS PRICES but units with the ceilings falling out and unswept and dirty units upon move in. Newcomers you deserve better. I will be moving out ASAP!! Shame on you iStorage! Greedy people don't get far in this world. STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY. ... Read more

My original price was $71.xx with military discount. I paid 1 month and the istorage removed the discount, requested proof of service, and increased my payments to $128.xx. Being deployed and unable to retrieve our items.... I highly do not recommend this company. We used this place in the past and it was a different name. So the new ownership really knows how to lose business. ... Read more

Management was helpful, responsive, and personable. I called many locations and even though this one is a bit more of a drive, I still feel it's worth it. Management answered all questions and even sent me a clear map with instructions to make my move in easier. During my stay there was an issue with billing but they worked with me to get it resolved. Please stay awesome! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
