Secure Care Storage better known as Deer Creek/Blue Sky this place was very disappointing. My storage unit got broken into not once but twice in less than a three week period. The first break in I received a call not to tell me that my storage unit had been broken into, but was told that I needed to come put a lock on my storage. I’ve had a lock on my storage unit from day one. When I arrived that’s when I found out that the unit was broken into. The only thing I was told is that I need to call the police. No kind of assistance from management. I asked for the footage before the break in, because the police officer asked for it. No response from the manager. I had asked for the manager to call me at least 3 times. He did not call. We went to the storage about 1 week later and the place was still dirty, wires and cameras from the alarm system still hanging out of box and on the ground. Asked if they were going to clean up and secure the door. I was told yes. Went back and it still looked the same. The storage unit got broken into for a second time and we didn’t get a call for 3 days. The place was still unsecured and dirty. To top all of this off they still have not settled or given me the correct insurance company so I can file claim on the first break in. They have a new manager and she is doing her best to help me with this manner. I really appreciate her. She responds when I to speak to the manager and answers questions and understands my frustration. But I’m still running into road block. I would not ever use this storage again. I would rather give all my stuff to Good Will. Worst experience ever. ... Read more

We moved to a larger unit in December & by February had to buy a new lock and increase the amount we frequent our unit due to all the break-ins that have been occurring. Our previous lock was destroyed from a break-in attempt and when we inquired if they could check the cameras to see who was breaking in the units, we were told the cameras were "still broken" since the last break-ins. We wrote in to make sure a complaint was on file about the issue and asked to be escalated to the area manager. We were sent an email 2.16.25 from the company that simply said, "Hello, all break in customers are contacted when we discover it. The fence was repaired the day we found it cut. A camera vendor had been contacted and we are owning the quote to repair and replace cameras. All customers are given the SBOA brochure if they have that policy." We promptly replied requesting to know when we could expect the cameras to be repaired, pointing out it is an insurance liability for anyone else that holds outside policies for there to be a known issue with security & it not to be rectified. It shouldn't be a surprise that we have not heard back from anyone. On top of the security issues, I saw my payment charged today with a $40 increase from what my lease payment states and from what we have been paying. We've received zero notice of an increase and have inquired as to why we are being charged more than our lease states. Especially when we are on the 3rd month of having this unit and all of the security issues. It's interesting that we point out the issues with the break-ins a month ago and now all of a sudden our payment is charged erroneously. I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but I am. If you are in the business of self-storage, your entire business is to keep safe someone else's items, yet that is the very thing you are NOT doing and then penalizing the customer for pointing out the issues. We absolutely will be looking for a new place to store our items that is not only secure but also honest. ... Read more

FeliCa is a very knowlegable and caring person. She can only do what she can unless she has the money to do it. Increasing monthly payments with no improvements to property security cameras that don’t work constent break-ins . No way to retrieve stolen property without proof ( cameras). Too easy access. Change entrance numbers monthly?? We have only been with secure care about a year and the payment has gone from $50.00 to $98.00 with no cameras. Very Bad business. No one wants to have their stuff stolen. I hope that these things can be resolved or we will have to to move our things. Thanks ... Read more

The theft rate is high at the location on cleburne Rd so rent at your own risk. They finally have a manager that is trying to clean the place up and I hope the company lets her do her job.You can't call your business Secure when the facility isn't secure that is lying to all who decides to rent out a unit or parking location. It will take some time but I'm sure the new manager will get this place under control. The access gate also needs to be checked out because those gates should be locked and nobody allowed in after 10..Please stand on your brand and make this place SECURE. ... Price is good, office staff is nice, don’t really have any problems except the last time I went to drop some things off, there was mouse poo all over my favorite velvet blanket and then while I was going through a box, a mouse ran out of it and I almost had a heart attack. Haven’t been back since I’m too worried my things might look chewed up. My unit is on the outside by a field and it is cold so I’m sure that’s a big part of why I’m seeing mice . I just don’t know what to do. ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.
