Five stars if your goal is to store your belongings for someone else to break into your unit and steal everything We rented a unit here, only to discover that a large amount of our property had been stolen. The explanation we've received has raised more questions than answers, and trying to get information has been incredibly frustrating. The office is often locked, communication is poor, and now we're left dealing with police reports and insurance claims instead of enjoying our belongings. I paid for storage. I didn't realize I was also paying for a scavenger hunt to figure out where all of our stuff went. ... Read more

I got a 5”x 10” storage with Public Storage using their online 40% off Promotion this month. I completed everything online, including the insurance(Insurance is required). Nothing was face-to-face; after completing the process online, I showed up to the facility & used my phone to access the storage building via the Public Storage app. When I arrive to my unit, the key was inside. Public Storage was a very seamless process from start to finish. With the 40% off discount, I am currently paying $25 a month and when the insurance kicks in it will be about $35 a month. It is my understanding that the 40% off deal will be for a limited time. Thank you Public Storage for your help. My storage is on Harry Hines in Dallas. Not all locations offer the 40% off so pay attention if you sign up online. Thanks again PS.?????? thank you, Angela ( PS representative) for calling to see how my PS move-in went?? ... Read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. Let me spell out the reasons. In less than 5 years, our storage cost has increased 375% (32.2% annualized) to over $41 per square foot. This is double the price of Dallas apartment rents for a box of tin. Their pricing practices are worse than those of the worst drug company. My price is 3x the price listed on their website for a new renter. Meanwhile, I pulled up their record in DCAD, and from 2021-2024, they basically paid no increases in property taxes because rates have gone down, so they have been screwing me with all of these increases. The complex smells like crap and often has a sewer smell. I didn't have a very complex life, we would have moved out years ago. Enough is enough. This is a shady business, and I hope their owners get all the bad karma they deserve. ... Read more

Had my family move down here. In midst of having a house built and delays. They needed somewhere to store their things. Fast forward we move. Lo and behold we start seeing little baby bugs in some of the boxes that were stored. Come to find out they were roaches. We literally moved into a brand new home with roaches. Prior to storage we didn’t see those bugs. Be careful where you store your things. ... Read more

I’ve been a customer for about a year at this particular location and it has always worked well for me. Brandy is the worst customer service individual I have ever dealt with. She tried to demand holding my drivers license for two hours and refused to take another form of gov id to borrow a cart. She also was screaming at me with zero control. That is not how you speak to anyone let alone a paying customer. There is a sign that says during business hours carts can be provided and it’s business hours and she would not give me a cart bc it would inconvenience her while she took care of her other responsibilities as an employee. She needs to be held accountable for her attitude and behavior and I am owed an apology . Everyone else I have dealt with here has been kind and lovely. Kyle and Trish are the model employees. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
