Now I don’t usually do this but I have to tell about my bad experience today. I rented a storage unit at 2:21pm. Go to the unit at2:30pm and can’t get inside the unit because the code that was given to unlock the lock did not work. Boom I call customer service. Let them know the situation, they informed me that management would be there to help. No one reached out within 30 minutes so I called cs back. They informed me again that management would handle it. No one reach out so I ended up calling back multiple times until 5:45pm when the customer service rep informed me that they were closed and there was nothing they could do until they open tomorrow at 10am. I asked for a refund they stated management(who no one can get in touch with) had to give me a refund. I asked them to transfer me to a different unit. They stated management(who no one can get in touch with)was the only one who could authorize a transfer. At this point, I’m truly not understanding what’s the point of customer service when there is absolutely nothing they can do to help. It’s 6:37pm and I still haven’t heard from management. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
