I was initially concerned about the service being handled remotely, but the representative that assisted me(Noel) from the beginning has been very helpful and prompt. Once I visited the site I felt my property would be safe and secured. ... Read more

Really great, self serve type of place. They have quick replies and solutions to majority of issues. The yard is easy to maneuver and it’s plenty of space while parking whatever it is you’re storing. The area is maintained so either everyone respects and keep it clean or they have a really great team who takes care of it. ... Read more

We have not moved in yet, but so far we have had a great experience, Nadine has been very helpful, I can’t think of a experience with customer service in the past that has been as polite and helpful. Well maybe Apple, you guys rank right up there in my book, hopefully it will continue. And it’s nice to talk to an English speaking representative. Thank you! ... Read more

My experience has not been good here. First of all, I booked through neighbor for a covered space. When I arrived with my RV they gave me an uncovered lot and refused to move me to a covered one without making me pay more money. After my RV sat out exposed due to its age and the fact I haven’t gotten to it yet to reseal the roof, it got a bunch of water damage. Then on top of that the last month or so I have experienced a lot of financial difficulties. They began to put a lock on my RV which I understand however they blocked my access from being able to go view the RV or take potential buyers from looking at it so I can sell it and pay off my fees. Instead of working with me and being understanding I was met with attitude and immoral responses and now right after I stated I will not be paying RecNation nor Neighbor a cent due to them doing this to me they went ahead and put a lien on my RV not even two hours later. I get that we signed a lease but this is not Nazi germany, you should be able to work with people given their financial situations especially when they are trying to get their own vehicle sold so they can literally pay you. I never once stated I was going to break the lock I have no equipment to do so. I wanted to let two people from Facebook view it and pay for it so I could deposit the cash and make a payment that same day. I have had nothing but issues with this place, I have lost thousands and now I have lost my RV which I was going to sell not only to pay my dues but also use towards getting myself a car as I’m a mother of two and currently in school. Do not sign a lease here as they are crooks and care more about locking you into an oppressive lease without care for the actual people who are making them money. People like you do not fear god nor do you care about anything other than making money. ... Read more

The facility is nice, however, I’ve only had a space for 1 month and the price went up $10. I also didn’t transfer all my information that I put into my lease into my account(me not knowing how, I guess)and they charged me $50. Warning to everyone to please do that to avoid that charge. Also realize that this is not a personal storage so you’re not going to get personal customer service. When you call, you will get a call center who reads from a book and isn’t willing to work with you. My other family members who also opened up a spot around the same time got to keep the priced they signed up for. ... Read more

My friend referred me to RecNation, and I am so thrilled. I was storing my travel trailer at another facility nearby. What I get at RecNation is a larger space, enclosed, and costs, less than what I was paying before. Now I can store not only my RV but also, a lot of the things I had in another storage unit that go with the RV because I can shut the door and Lock it. Instead of paying for two units I’m paying for one and saving money!!! AND I don’t have to worry about the weather My RV are causing damage that makes it lose its value. No hail storm, no windstorm, and the hot Texas Sun doesn’t hit my trailer! PLUS They are way more helpful and professional than where I was previously! I love dealing with these people. You will, too. UPDATE - I had a question about my bill. Called RECNATION today and spoke with Gabby. What a delight. In the past I've also spoken with Christi and both time received excellent customer service. I wish all companies provided this level of service! Thanks RecNation for having such great staff! ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
