I phone called this business seeking an available storage unit and they were very willing to work with me. I walked into to check if it was still available and was rudely mistreated due to the working staff thinking I was homeless after traveling back to the island pregnant with my first child. I'm six months along and received a $12,000 dollar back payment and yesterday on the very same day found a storage business willing to except my bank card as well my Identification which has my proof of address on the island. I have been a resident of Galveston Texas for over six years and know the reason of billionaires going undercover as homeless community members to investigate how repetitives of their establishment business treat homeless people especially after the pandemic that has caused many to fall homeless on a daily basis. I'm extremely disappointed in how this storage facility a and many other business repetitives on the island of Galveston dehumanize and discriminate against the less fortunate. I'm gathering information and will be moving forward to exposing the grim reality of how Galveston culture truly is on a documentary film my husband as well as myself have been working on for the past two years. Good luck and God bless to everyone always!. ... Read more

Great facility, building is always clean and secure. I am not afraid to go into that building because of the security they have. The units are well lit and climate controlled. Staff is helpful and hours of operation fit my schedule great. I highly recommend Storage Inc. ... Read more

This place has a great location, clean and friendly staff, but aweful customer outreach and communication. When I originally got a unit 6 years ago the access was great 7am-7pm. Sometime thereafter the hours were changed to 8am to 8pm with only a printout on the door which was inconvenient for my work but workable. Since covid they changed access to their business hours, again without notice, just a printout on the door. Since then they have changed their business hours multiple times, also without notice outside of a taped on price of paper. Now they're closed on Sunday "by appointment only" and don't have any notice or access hours on the access door, you have to drive to the office door to find out why your code doesn't work. The worst part about having to find out for yourself all of this while they have an email and phone they can send an automated message through to let customers know before they load up their vehicles to access a unit management constantly change times on. Being on the fifth floor, it would also be nice to know when the elevator is down to schedule around service and not be surprised by having to carry up and down 5 flights of stairs or having to use a side gate that you don't give access to when the rear door is broken. ... I hate to write bad reviews, but I had quite a time with this facility. The staff was super nice, no doubt about that! But, here's the story. From the get go, I had a truckload of my stuff that I moved down two stories from my residence and hauled over, only to be locked out of the facility - in the rain. Make sure you check the hours, otherwise you absolutely cannot get in. Even to get your stuff. Even to put your stuff in. Nobody will answer your calls. It was my fault, I get it, but I wasn't informed about that aspect when I handed over 140 buckaroos. When I was moving out, I had to carry my entire storage unit, full of furniture and moving boxes, down four flights of stairs. I guess it took about eight hours or so. Turns out their only elevator was broken and out of service that day. Total bummer. BUT - it's a cool building, and air conditioned. Pretty pricey because of that, and I'd still have a hard time recommending it to anyone that asked. Convenient as all get out, though. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
