I've been using Right Move Storage for the past two years and they provide a good service! The units are clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible, plus the manager Bruce is incredibly friendly and helpful. I don't like the rent increase but that's what happens in life. ... Read more

I would be very careful renting from this business in Hallsville. I was a customer at this facility for almost 20 years before Right Move Storage bought the units. In those 20 years the previous owner raised prices 1 time. In the first year the new owners bought the units, they raised prices 3 times. They will also charge you a late fee even if you pay before the penalty date if you pay on a date they are closed. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Response: I was in unit 12 at the A&A location on Hwy 80. I will be happy to post canceled checks to show these rate increases. For 20 years, I drove to this location and dropped my check in the drop slot. Your policy of no late fees if paid before the 5th. I was out of town and went up there and paid it by the 5th. But your manager would not count it since you were closed. I received no call, email or text prior to her simply telling me I owed the extra $20. She could care less that I was a 20 year customer and wanted her $20. Well you got your $20 and lost a 20 year customer. Doesn’t make much sense to me. In the 20 years I rented from the other owner, not once was I ever charged a late fee or locked out of my unit for non payment. As a matter of fact, I was paid a month in advance when you took over but was told you do not allow paying in advance. That and considering rates had increased 75% from the previous owner, who could afford to pay a month in advance for a 12x30 unit. Response#2 I never opted out of anything. I was never offered an opportunity to opt in. I never signed any paperwork with you people after the sale. The previous owner had both my cell phone for texting and email address. I was simply sent a letter saying the units had been sold and who the new owners were. My review was simply left for others to see what I had experienced. I do see one mistake I made. You’ve just had 3 rate increases not 4. I will correct that. No further communication or response is needed. ... Read more

I was just told please sign here sign year initial your initial here. Nothing was explain nothing was saying what what I’ll be signing or explain the rules and regulations explain to me when I do they was, or if there is any late charges, how long is grace period before they charge a late charges nothing was told was said anything to me so then I get a phone call and telling me that my bill was $72 instead of $55 trying to get a hold of management let messages never got a phone call back call the next day to make that payment and went from $72 one day did the next day became $92 and the only response I get from anybody is I don’t know I wasn’t there ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
