My wife got told she could have 24 hour access. She's a Teacher and sometimes has last minute changes to lesson plans and needs to get materials from her unit late at night. She also does wildlife rescue and needs to grab a cage or leash late at night. Lots of other people had 24 hour access obviously, we saw people drive in there when we were leaving, lots of people or while we were there. Suddenly one evening the worker on the property called the police on my wife and the regional manager from Dallas, name is Nelda Huizar Perkins she has 7 or 8 last names/ older Hispanic lady from Dallas, informed my wife she had one month to vacate the premises of the property and move off permanently, she was never given a warning about change of policy just had the police called on her, no email no text no call and she had that unit almost for a year. There was such a big bunch of drama over something that she had done for a whole year around once a week, go to her storage unit after closing hours, there was never any problem, she was usually alone... the worker regretted it immediately once she saw my wife's wildlife rescue materials sitting in the driveway, clearly she wasn't there to do any kind of illegal activity cuz she's about her business and putting stuff in there and she had to teach a lesson the next day and was grabbing some materials out of the unit in a box, this box was searched and found to have books in it. The lady named Nelda Huizar needs to be prosecuted and fired for lying to police about my wife's activities there and not informing her of a change to the access ever. The lady called my wife a liar and accused her of being homeless and doing illegal activity...Nelda Huizar's extremely mentally unbalanced and sees/hears/ believes things are going on that are not AT ALL going on and needs to be prosecuted for the hell my wife needlessly went through. You'd be doing well to avoid A American storage centers. ... Read more

I couldn’t be MORE pleased with the fine folks here. I was a little confused how to drop off the equipment at the end of my agreement which occurred during a hellacious thunderstorm with intense lightning. James and family took care of me and emailed me my receipt so I didn’t get more drenched. If you need a rental or storage unit these folks will take care of you. ... Read more
