I was renting from the storage unit for several months The place that I was living at for seven years the owner sold the building and I had to move I chose this storage because it was close to my house I start moving everything in but then to realize The way that they charged me I was paying seven $800 and I was paying it they told me that I could not enter my storage unit. It was paid This was several months ago because I had an outstanding balance. I end up paying the storage, but by law, you are never not allowed to enter your own storage I end up paying the money that they said I owed they live there they live upstairs the people that work there I went inside the office, and the lady flirted with me and made me feel very uncomfortable so I never went back in the office again I would call on the phone and call on the phone and nobody would answer when I was in the office. I gave the lady my new updated phone number. I am assuming she never put it on the account I have been dealing with my mom. She’s sick well, the end result after paying eight and $900 or around that Area of pricing for a public storage. That is supposed to be a dollar turn around charging me 700 and 800 to $900 I have been trying to call them since over 30 days to pay my storage no one answered the phone and I repeat no one answered the phone but they live there how was you guys so fast to sell my storage unit but not to pick up the phone? I got no emails. I got no phone calls. I got no notices. if anything, I was trying to call them for 30 days but now I do have a police report I do have all my phone records of where I called them I do have my receipts of where I paid my storage and I am taking this to the extreme you are not supposed to sell Bibles you are not supposed to sell oils from Jerusalem and that is what they did let alone my clothes my furniture my shoes this place took over $40,000 from me and did their job illegal? They’re supposed to let you know but let’s forget about all of it why nobody answered the phone when I was calling for over 30 days this place is a scam. Do not get a storage unit from here. You will end up losing it or you will get an outstanding bill that they will try to make you to lose it, but the thing is I could’ve afforded it. and that’s why they did this because they’re tactic did not work on me because $1000 bill they told me my bill was $1000 and I said OK. Where do I pay it? Oh well I have to tell you everything is gone in the auction it off. when I just made a payment June 27 and they auction my stuff off 15 days ago which means it was August 12 please do the math is that maththing to you ? Me either cause where is the grace? Period. But let’s forget about all that again why nobody answered my calls when I was calling to make a payment but they decided to set up an auction instead and talk to the people to get their money for the auction and sell my stuff. They was more busy prioritizing then getting my money. There is a big scam running down there and if you have valuables if you have things from your great grandparents if you have things that you’ve hold onto for years, do not put your stuff in here. Do not go to a different place. Go to U-Haul. I’ve been dealing with U-Haul for years and they are wonderful. Go to U-Haul. I am telling you this place is no good and how they treat you and their plans and their tactics against you to steal your stuff is ridiculous if you do the math it was not even two months and when I show my phone records and my police report of the things that got stolen out of my unit Mark my words, I will make a storm out of this because by law, it was not even two months and in their policy, it says two months I am going to take this to the news I am going to broadcast this all over social media also, there was a title to my vehicle birth certificates social Security cards ... I am writing this review to express my deep frustration with Public Storage. My unit was recently auctioned off at this location. While I understand that storage units can be auctioned for non-payment, the sale of my legal documents and personal belongings, including irreplaceable items from my deceased mother, is completely unacceptable. To be clear, I don’t care about most of the items in the unit, but my Social Security cards, birth certificates, death certificates, and a box of my late mother’s belongings—which have emotional significance—were in that unit. These items are extremely important to me, and the fact that they were sold without proper attention is unacceptable. What’s even more concerning is that when I asked Public Storage for the buyer’s information to try to recover my items, they refused to provide it. Despite the sale of personal and sensitive legal documents, they were unwilling to assist me in retrieving what’s rightfully mine. I do want to acknowledge that one employee at the facility was kind and helpful, and I appreciate her empathy during this difficult time. However, this does not change the fact that my documents were mishandled, and I am still left with no way to recover them. If these items are not recovered or returned immediately, I will pursue legal action against Public Storage for violating state and federal laws regarding the sale of personal, identifying documents. I am asking for urgent action—please retrieve and return my important legal documents and personal items. If these items are not returned, I will be forced to take further steps to ensure accountability. This situation has caused me significant distress, and I trust Public Storage will do everything in its power to resolve it as soon as possible. ... Read more

First I want to say I didn't plan on using a storage but because of the hurricane we needed one badly. This place is near us and decided to get the space online. I was a little confused on everything but once I got to the storage a really amazing lady named Maria helped us out. She made the process easy and answered all my questions. The lobby was clean and well organized. They have a restroom incase you need one. The entire storage facility is clean and very well-maintained. Over all with the cleanliness & great customer service this is definitely the place you want to come to store your stuff. I will highly recommend this location to all my family and friends just because the customer service was so great. I really appreciate it so much.. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 2100 North Loop West has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 2100 North Loop West can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 2100 North Loop West come at a variety of prices, starting from $26 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $271 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
