When we first rented at this facility, it was fantastic. Gina was the best manager, and the facility was gorgeous. Then the facility changed hands. All of sudden, we were restricted on accessing the unit; and all sorts of new signs were displayed. The grounds also started to look unkept. We have paid our rent a month ahead for years. Then they changed softwear and we no longer could do that on line. I sent a bill pay for July 25, which they said they didn't receive, so I used a credit card. The bill pay finally showed up and our August 25 rent was paid ahead. When I discussed our leaving with the manager, she told me they wanted a 30 day notice, but they would not pro-rate the rent. What is the point of giving 30 days notice, if you will not have your rent pro-rated? We actually could have vacated the unit on 9/9/25, but chose to use up as much of what we had paid for as possible. So, for the princely sum of $111.20, you bought yourself a bad review. I had to line up movers and people to help me, and 9/9/25 was the day that worked for all. The manager barely answers the phone or calls you back. It takes two or three calls to get their attention. They want to automate everything and have as little interaction with the renters as possible. In addition, one of my boxes looked like it had termite damage. In case they try to say we didn't clean our unit out, I have attached photos. Finally, at the end, we get a text, email and phone call, thanking us for our business. They asked us to write a review. Don't you think it is too little, too late? We have been in a lot of storage facilities, but this is the worst. ... Read more

We reached out to AAA Storage and they were short, sweet and to the point. Very helpful in selecting the appropriately sized unit for what we needed at the time. I strongly encourage you to try them out. They have basic storiage units but also temperature controlled units as well. ... Read more

I have had a storage unit since 2019 and I had to go by to see if it was possible to cut the lock. Darlene was super nice and helpful she treated me with the utmost respect and never once made me feel dumb for not knowing that they do this often. I definitely recommend this facility and I would ask for Darlene because she knows her stuff. ... Read more

As a college student that needed a place to store all of my stuff just for a couple of months (over summer break) before moving into a new apartment, I checked out basically every storage facility within Huntsville and AAA was undoubtedly the right choice. Price is the best, staff is super friendly, and the climate controlled units are exactly what I was looking for. Staff is also super helpful when asked about quick tours of different units. The only thing I was initially hesitant on was the distance from the storage complex to my apartment, but I believe the secure and quiet area around it makes up for it. Can't recommend this place enough. ... Read more

For a while, I have been debating on getting a storage unit to better fit my dorm-style living. As a college student, I was trying to find somewhere that was budget friendly but also didn’t put my items at a risk. I finally found one that had hundreds of five star reviews talking about how great this one place was. That’s when I came across AAA storage in Huntsville, Texas. I decided to give them a call on their available units and what the rates would be and they were able to completely work with my budget as they have amazing deals going on continuously. Soon after that, I decided to drive up to the facility and within five minutes of me being there, I was given a tour of the available units, signed up, and ready to move into my already cleaned unit. All of the staff and fellow customers that I interact with while I am on the property have been so sweet and respectful to me. Not to mention that I feel completely safe while being on the property due to the security measures that they have put in place like gated access and various security cameras. The area that the storage facility is at is very peaceful and in a remote kind of area, which makes it nicer when you are there because you don’t really have to worry about nothing. Overall, my experience has been great and I am glad I brought my business to them! Thank yall! ... Read more

This is a great place to store your stuff. The units are in great shape and are very secure. The people that live on the property take great care of the grounds and do a great job in watching over the units. The are cameras throughout the property and the gate is always closed and requires a code to get in. We were very pleased with this storage facility and only moved because we live outside of town and had a storage place of equal quality built right down from our house. Don't hesitate to give this place your business. You won't be disappointed. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that AAA Storage - 124 Essex Blvd has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by AAA Storage - 124 Essex Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 520 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by AAA Storage - 124 Essex Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $49 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $309 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
