Great service and follow up!! Taylor provided excellent service. She even went the extra mile to assist by suggesting other unit sizes, as I was dealing with my own uncertainty. We all know moving can be very stressful. But rest assured, you are in good hands with Taylor at the Morton Ranch Rd location in Katy, TX. My rental experience was a breeze. Quick and easy. No complicated paperwork or red tape. I highly recommend renting at this property. You can thank me later. ?? ... Read more

The new manager Taylor is always seen outside cleaning and on property cleaning! The property has its issues but she is always there to help solve the problem or offers you greater help if she can not! Her customer serivce is 10000% different then any manager that has been here and I can see the place coming together since she has been here! Great facility for location it’s right off the highway and next to many thing you will need while moving! ... Read more

I won’t trust Public Storage ever again. They are a scam!! First price, they get you with a small monthly fee at first and then every 5-6 months they up the price by $30-50. I had the space for a little over a year and in that time I went from paying around $140 to $220 before I canceled it. There are never any dollies in the place, never, and I’ve gone during the week, on weekends, in the morning, mid-afternoon and at night and there is never any dollies and on the rare chances I find one, one of the tires is half broken and it’s spilt on one side. I pay for the “climate control” but it feels like they have the thermostat at 80F constantly. The elevators are broken every other week and there’s no light inside the storage unit. They’re even charging me a month of rent as my “move out” fees. All in all if I ever need storage space again I will look for another company. I won’t be caught dead close to one of them. If I were you, do your research and pick another company!! ... Read more

Anthony was great (rep on site). He walked to my unit to show me exactly where it was and then when I had issues with my lock he walked out again to help me. We extremely polite then entire time. And apologetic about the lock , even though it wasn’t his fault. My first experience using Public Storage and he made the experience better. ... Read more

This is the second time in the same month that I went to my storage to move out things and ALL 3 Elevators were not working and no access to stairs. This is frustrating because I paid movers to help me and still had to pay them for their time. This is not acceptable especially when you are trying to move out of the unit but I’m sure the rent will be due on the 1st if I’m not moved out. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS ASAP. There was many others at the storage trying to get upstairs with nobody returning calls. ... Read more

The app for the gate access is finicky so that’s usually a big inconvenience. The price increases are ridiculous, I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing a unit here as I see multiple reviews stating the same complaint I’m now having. So I will be in the process of finding a new storage unit that doesn’t partake in price hiking after 4 months. ... Read more

The Storage Unit I rented for the past few month's was for the most part very good experience, slight issues but they were resolved quickly. Easy to access and easy to move things in and out of the unit. Chase L. was very helpful with the whole process and the 5 stars are for his follow up. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.
