Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 690 East Highway 121, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Do not rent here! If I could leave zero stars I would. Rats rats rats! They make you pay for insurance that will do absolutely nothing to help with the damage done in your unit. I missed a month and had to pay almost double that to get it back plus another lock that they broke off. I had 3 tvs in the unit and it’s completely ruined all of them. The cord was missing out the back and everything. Not to mention they keep raising the monthly payments on the unit. Started at 55. Went from 55 to paying 238 the next month then paying 68 to 89. I never noticed until I got a notice about paying this month. This will be my last month because this place is a ripoff. Always trash everywhere and again rats are all over the place! I’m not even sure if I can save anything. I wish I had know before and if I had a truck my stuff would have been out of there. Also they don’t want you there after 9pm. People can’t make it if they have work during their open hrs! Wish I had read the reviews before moving my stuff here! ... Read more

Property management is non-existent. If there's any type of issue, you're pretty much out of luck unless there just happens to be someone there cleaning the property. I've called dozens of times, left voicemails and no answer. ... Read more

Let me first say there was NO FOOD in my unit. I tried to get in touch with the property manager for almost a month NO ANSWER. Even corporate couldn’t contact them. The day I was moving out who shows up the manager. She said since it’s a kiosk unit she doesn’t always get the calls. Granted that may be true but what about the voicemails? As we further indulged in a conversation she said something that made me realize she was not being honest and she had at least spoke to corporate about my situation not me when she said “yea I told them that’s something a lot of people deal with here and it’s really not my fault”. ?? interesting she spoke to her DM the DM came didn’t even look my way. Disgusting. The last picture I’m posting of the unit at the bk there are lips that drop off and evidently goes into a field or something because when night fell we could see light drastically shining through the entire back side. I understand you “should know” the rules and regulations when storing furniture in a facility as such but the way this entire thing was handled by management disgusted me. I lost OVER $8000 worth of items because it was either chewed through, urinated or pooped on. I have insurance but they’re only trying to honor $250 of a $5000 policy I was paying on even after several photos, and inventory sheets were sent in. It’s ok though I’ve learned my lesson will NEVER go back to them but I want the next customer to know even if there is no food in your unit BEWARE OF RODENT INFESTATION HERE. Because like she said every deals with it there. ?? ... Read more

The team on site is nice. Unfortunately this company as a whole is not one I can recommend. They have policies in place to take advantage of there tenants and constantly increase rates after getting them in. On top of that there is a constant rat issue and several of our items were covered in rat feces. ... Read more

Place deserves zero stars. Rat infested property. They destroyed, chewed up, and crapped/pissed on everything. All my furniture destroyed. Personal items that cannot be replaced ruined. Insurance will only cover up to 250 dollars with 100 deductible for vermin damage that they make you get??? Whole thing is a scam. Do not rent here. Management would never respond to me until I moved out. Pictures posted, I would rent somewhere else. See others reviews, appears to be systemic. ... Read more

This is a horrible storage unit, they have let rats and i’m sure other animals urinate all over my things in my storage unit which is disgusting and upped my rent for the smallest space to $120. this is unacceptable and if im not compensated i will be suing them for lack of care for my things. i shouldn’t have to throw half of my belongings away because they are so nasty. how are rats even getting into my space? i am highly irritated ... Just wanted to say that this location has been top notch. No issues on access, billing or anything else. I even had to get my lock cut off, Amanda (District Manager) and Gather (Building Manager) were ready and willing to help. I even received a phone call when my shed was not locked correctly. Very pleased with all the service. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 690 East Highway 121 has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 690 East Highway 121 can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 690 East Highway 121 come at a variety of prices, starting from $35 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $207 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
