HORRIBLE TREATMENT FROM SARA. I was cleaning out my unit and had my stuff all over the building in order to clean my unit properly and SARA who was working on 3-10-25 around 4pm entered and was extremely aggressive and started yelling for me to get my stuff out of an already opened unit (I was only using the space in front of my unit to clean and rolled some bins there in order to leave space in the hallways in case another person enters to access their unit so that I wouldn’t be in their way). She then interrupted me when I was trying to explain that I was just cleaning my unit and would clean up when I was done , and she started to step on MY PROPERTY and started to kick MY PROPERTY that I had in the hallway laying out. I told her to stop kicking my stuff because I clearly said I would clean my mess (as I always do), and then she walked away and didn’t say a word after harassing me and stepping/kicking my property. She then left me a voicemail in a completely different “nice” tone and lied saying I was “storing my stuff in vacant units” . I PAY RENT, and I NEVER have stored or left my stuff in vacant units. She must be miserable because why in the world would you be talking to a stranger this way and lying? I have been here renting and am a PAYING loyal customer to iStorage for more than a year, and I have NEVER been treated this horribly. After i saw the voice message I called back and asked her why she lied and why she claimed I was “storing items in vacant units” and threatening to not give me access to the unit I PAY FOR , and she then put on a fake customer service voice and calmly said “I just asked you to please clear out your stuff”… how about you tell the truth Sara and say you literally harassed me and tried to intimidate me while i was ALONE in my unit building? and how you literally stepped and kicked over my property? But of course her tone and attitude changed over the call since the phone calls between customers and the storage facility are recorded. How disgusting. I will be putting in a complaint and calling corporate about this. I have heard other people complain about this Sara woman multiple times and this is unacceptable. This is no way to treat any human. Is this really what you stand for iStorage? Do BETTER. The old property manager Lisa was amazing and truly a great person. Find someone like her. ... Read more

They raised our rent exactly 1 month after we signed on. I understand these adjustments are necessary from time to time but not right off the bat after we just signed on. At least give us 6 months before dropping that price hike dang. Other than that the facility seems well kept I guess. ... Read more

I chose this storage based on the reviews. However, the customer service is actually better than the reviews. Lillian was extremely helpful in choosing a unit. Not only was she helpful, she was sincerely courteous. A few days later I rec'd a call from Andrea to make sure everything was OK because the unit was still vacant. In my opinion, this shows concern for the customer. This is a genuinely friendly business who cares about the needs of their customers. If you need storage, I recommend this company highly! ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
