Very disappointed. My storage unit was broken into on 4/6/26, along with the units on both sides of mine, yet management never notified me. I didn't find out until I visited my unit six weeks later. When I asked Miss Patti about it, her response was, "This happens when you have storage." For a facility that advertises 24/7 surveillance, I expected better security, communication, and concern for customers. I would not recommend storing valuables here. Please go check your storage. They are quick to call you when you’re late, but not when you’re broken into. ... Read more

I had a great experience with Mission De Lago Self Storage. From the moment I walked in, the front desk lady was incredibly informative and helpful. She took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience and professionalism. On top of that, she was very polite and friendly, which made the entire process of setting up the contract smooth and stress-free. The facility itself is impressively clean and has a modern, updated feel. The storage units are well-maintained and spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable they are. Whether you're looking for climate-controlled units or standard ones, they have options to fit your needs. I would definitely recommend Mission De Lago to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and friendly storage solution. Excellent service and great value all around! ... Read more

I’ve had a couple of hiccups with the storage facility and some miscommunication but I say they have redeemed themselves every time to make me happy and I’m glad we choose to keep our stuff here overall. It’s gated, has crazy monitoring and it’s so close to my home for quick access. I would say it’s overall a great experience. It’s always clean and all the equipment dolleys are always working and not flat. The onsite staff always take care of the maintenance to have this place well running each and every time. Definitely worth it. ... Read more

This storage facility is outstanding. Everything is clean and secure and you couldn’t ask for a better person to help you with any questions you might have than Patty. As far as security, they have cameras everywhere and you get your own passkey to get in and out of the facility. If you have a climate controlled storage like I do, you also have to key in at the door to get inside the building. That’s double security even before getting to your unit. Overall, this place beats all the other facilities hands down. I highly recommend it and I will continue to give them my business. Thank you ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
