I had a similar situation with these people. I rented two units for two months. In the middle of the month they were telling me to move my stuff into one unit and they were going to rent it out to someone else. I then asked Dave if they would pro rate my lease and he said flat out NO and that I HAD to MOVE since I only really needed one. Everytime I asked for my deposit the man that was there kept saying I needed to talk to Dave who was Never there when my lease was up.I didn't even get my deposit back and I talked to others on the Island and said the same thing. If I still lived over there after reading Jeff s review I would of done a charge back like he did. I wonder how many years they have been getting away with this type of scam. Thank God for Google reviews. ... Read more

Theives! Very unprofessional! I am a local and was moving to PI , I put half my stuff in one of the units. They charged me for a deposit and a month. I put my stuff in there for 5 days. Then I removed some stuff and moved it to Port Isabel. When I went to move my stuff, it smelled like smoke. They smoke in the office and it travels throughout the units. On top of this I was going to put the second half of my stuff in the unit when I found they had rented it out TO SOMEONE ELSE and it had someone elses lock on there. They threw my stuff in there "AWAY?" ! I called numerous times and the gentleman who ownes it David never returned my calls nor tried to contact me. FINALLY after I kept on calling him to discuss the matter he told me he threw away my stuff and he rented out to someone else and he was NOT going to refund me! My credit card company was completely on my side and I had to do a charge back. DO NOT do business with this place!! I should of called the Police and still might. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Mini Stor All of Self Storage - 103 West Saturn Lane, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
  • Perishable food
  • Live plants or animals
  • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 103 West Saturn Lane for specific restrictions and recommendations.
