Went above and beyond to make sure that we understood how to unlock and lock the units and what to expect and if we ever had any questions, feel free to contact and reach out and they’ve always been very helpful Since renting! ... Read more

I give 5 stars to the facility manager for being super nice and very helpful the entire time as far as David with customer service goes he needs to learn how to communicate and handle situations, he was very rude and not once did he apologize for the situation I contacted customer service if that’s what you wanna call it because there was no customer service. The sliding glass doors state the access hours and state 24/7 Superior Access but I was told they don’t offer it, so I contacted customer service about why the unit building doors state superior access 24/7 if they don’t offer it, he contacts the facility manager to ask what she told me, even though I don’t see why, he should know the policy. That was the whole reason I went with them because I need 24/7 access. False advertisement if you ask me. Oh and the moving truck they offer online they don’t have anywhere in my area ??. Horrible customer service but great facilities manager. ... Read more

I never thought I’d be writing a love letter to a giant metal box, but here we are. We rented a PODS container for about three months while remodeling my in-laws’ house. Originally, I figured it would be a temporary solution. Three months later, the POD had basically become a member of the family. I’m pretty sure it knew where everything was better than we did. Getting the container was ridiculously easy. Scheduling delivery online took only a few minutes. Keeping it longer than expected was just as simple—no penalties, no drama, no mysterious fees that require a lawyer and a decoder ring to understand. Every month it was basically, “Need it longer?” Me: “Yep.” PODS: “Cool.” Scheduling pickup was just as easy. In fact, the hardest part was saying goodbye. I briefly considered putting a wreath on it and naming it. The local manager even called to make sure I had everything I needed and to answer any questions. That level of customer service is rarer than finding the exact screwdriver you need on the first try. Best of all, it was far cheaper and easier than building a storage building for all the stuff we had to move during the remodel. Instead of constructing a shed, obtaining permits, and wondering why I suddenly thought I was a contractor, I clicked a few buttons and PODS handled the rest. If you need temporary storage, moving storage, remodeling storage, or a place to hide all the things your spouse insists we “might need someday,” PODS is the way to go. Highly recommend. Five stars. Would absolutely rent another giant metal family member again. ????? ... Read more

We go to church across the street from Superior Storage so I had to go check it out. LOL! This place is brand new, well lit at night, has more than enough room for any size moving vehicle, and uses a phone app for 24/7 security and access to your unit. They offer many climate controlled units as well, which seems to be hard to find in Tyler. I will definitely be using Superior when the need arises. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
