I appreciate that I was able to do my entire sign up online and didn't have to go in. However when I arrived in person the latch on my unit was bent and we couldn't get it open! I emailed and heard nothing, so I called. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful, polite, straightforward and professional. He moved my account to the unit next door and had my paperwork in my inbox and fixed the whole issue in one phone call. ... Read more

I have had a easy user experience when renting storage unit. Over last year I had a couple bumps in the road (both issues created by myself) the facility manager ( lives local in Whitney) was able to come right down and handled me in a professional way but also like a friend that cared about my situation. So if you are worried about using a big corporate business don't with this storage facility. You will receive the ease of a corporate phone call where there is someone always there BUT if needed a local manager that will make sure you are handled right away and not feeling like a number. Yes it's just a storage unit but it's made my life a little smoother! Thanks again ... Read more

Nice storage but raised my rate by over double after 3 months....... lowered it a little after calling but still over $ 50 more in a very short amount of time. Seems really like they don't care about the person or the circumstances in these trying times for all of us. ... Read more

Horrible storage place. Their service has dramatically decreased since the new company took over. I have seem many customers leave because of their services. They do not attend to the customer as a customer but as numbers on a board. I feel that they do not care about their customers they are only in it for themselves. They rely strictly on computers. ... No notifications that the Cedar Ridge Storage had been sold to Go Store It. Never received a new lease to sigh. They clain i did. No records in my email of such. No records in my email of the price increase for the so called protection. No notifications that my bill had been raised and no notifications that an insurance had been added. I started out paying $85 per month for my unit. Now it's $119.50. This is a rip off. ... Read more

Sellouts. Drove 3 hours on a Sunday to come grab stuff out of my unit. My code doesn’t work. Had to be reset previous time and was given a new one. Try it out and no luck. Call their number. Line is disconnected. Go online to retrieve a new code with their automated support and states my account can’t be retrieved. What a joke. No support at all. This is what happens when you sell out to big corporations. Everything is automated. Customer support out the door with jacked up prices. Had to store my stuff here due to military obligations and not sure when I can return back to retrieve my stuff. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
