I have rented two units here and they were good. They kept things clean and dry. After emptying them it has taken about a month to get my deposit back, supposedly because the person who has to sign a check can’t be bothered to travel to Mapleton to do it. Very disgusted with that! ... Read more

First of all it’s lame that they charge you $30 extra for helping you on a Saturday. Then my code wouldn’t work that they gave me to open the gate. I made several trips and had to ring the bell and have someone come down and open the gate each time. The attendant was pleasant and helpful though. That’s why I’m not giving a single star. The facility is run down and I would say the units are overpriced. ... Read more

Horrible Customer Service! Took the morning off to sign paperwork only to arrive with a sticky note in the office door “be back later”, so I called and left a message asking them to call me upon their return. Several hours later I called them back to see if they were available. The lady met me in the office and pulled out paperwork to sign a contract. I asked if I could see the units first. She was very put off by the s and said sure, then pointed outside. She stayed in the office while I wandered around trying to find the unit she said was available. Needless to say, I just moved on to another storage facility! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
