Read some helpful reviews of Extra Space Storage at 365 West 100 North, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The customer service is amazing and they are always available. Facility is clean and always shoveled when it snows. The only complaint is the prices keep going up and it’s at least once a year sometimes more. ... Read more

Access code gets changed with no notice. The new app to access the place has problems and not much help. The access code is too long to remember. This place is not cheap and I only come here because it is convenient. It looks like the are take over all the competition. ... Read more

Stay far, far away from this storage facility!! They will raise your rates for no reason, sky high!!! I have had a storage unit for a couple of months now. At first I had a really good deal. After I got married I had to upgrade and get a bigger unit. The price went up, which was expected. However, I just received a new notice that my rental price is going up over $100 next month for no reason. No wonder the state of New York is suing them for price gouging. There is absolutely no reason that my rent should be going up. I pay my bill every month on time. I think I am going to look for a new place to store my stuff. ... Read more

I had a great experience today with Extra Space Storage. I had an issue with a rate increase and they were very receptive and quickly responded and took care of the problem to my satisfaction. As long as this great customer service continues, I will keep my business with them. ... Read more

Great place if you only need to store your stuff for a couple of months. After that, watch out! We rented a 12"x15" unit (which is currently advertised for $89) in December. By March it was $115. Less than a year later, we received notice that it will be raised to $195! I didn't know that I would be needing to move my stuff so soon. ... Read more

I rarely leave reviews, especially if they are going to be a low rating. But I was asked by Extra Space Storage to leave one, and even though I said out loud that this would be a low review, they insisted I should leave one so here we go:) I'm not leaving a 1-star only because I do believe they have a clean environment. However, I have several reasons why I would rate them as a 1-star, which are the following reasons: 1 - They have now increased the price on me 3 times WITHOUT prior notice! If I didn't track payments, I would have never known. They claim they sent a notice to my home, but never received the postcard. The past two times they said they had sent a notice, I asked them to show me the address where they were sending the notice. It was the wrong address so I corrected it with them while I was in their office. . . . fast forward to separate times later when the price increased again . . . the same conversation occurred. They had the wrong address, I corrected it with them, and I left. Only to find out it's still the wrong address and the cycle continues. 2 - WHY are they increasing the price anyway? Also, it's good to know that the amount they're raising monthly charges is nearly $100 per unit, which I have 2. That's roughly $200 more per month. When I asked the customer service rep, she said that they can increase rent without needing a reason. They said it's their prerogative to make changes to my pricing. 3 - Some additional issues since I started renting with them: My unit was BROKEN INTO, vandalized, and roughly $4000 worth of items were stolen. During the break-in, our door and lock section was altered/dented and I've asked at least a dozen times for it to be repaired and it is still not repaired! NOTE: I will quickly send positive feedback on the stolen items. They did work with us to replace HALF the amount of the stolen items, thank you. 4 - The main problem is that there are "too many cooks in the kitchen" as well as a lot of staff turnover. I'll have a conversation with one employee and that employee will "fix the problem" but when I follow up, that employee is no longer working there. Even the regional manager "left because of problems" said the staff support with an eye roll. But he was the ONLY PERSON who actually helped me while roughly the other 8 people I've spoken with have not helped at all. 5 - Google Reviews - even with all this runaround, nothing being taken care of, stolen items, broken unit lock bolt area (which is still not fixed), over charging/increasing my rent for the third time, they asked me to leave them a Google Review :) In fact, I have followed up with them about the issues listed above (which again are STILL NOT taken care of nor rectified), they were more interested in asking me for a Google Review instead of offering solutions to these problems . . . so here it is ... My Extra Space Storage experience with two locations has been an exceptional one. The Utah office staff ladies Rachel and Nicole were warm and friendly. Both are quite knowledgeable and assist one another for ease of flow. The rental process itself was smooth and efficient. The same day I visited the office I unexpectedly needed an RV space. Despite being congested at my storage unit location, I was promptly accommodated with the RV space despite the rain, Nicole arrived quickly to locate a space and inspect the new storage unit for a repair( no door handle) which turnaround time is 48 hrs. (great). The paperwork process had no delays and I was in and out in a flash. Both ladies were cheery and warm the entire experience and reassured me if any problems came up during my stay they would handle it promptly. I believe that will happen. The property is clean and well kept. The office is organized and comfortable. This is my second rental from Extra Space Storage and was even better than the first. The gate access was speedy too. It's nice to have an enjoyable experience despite the dread of having to pack, travel, and unpack. The prices are surprisingly competitive and facility security is comforting. I'm confident when I leave this location the experience will be just as easy. Thank you for the hospitality. Dyana S ... Read more

The warm greeting delightfully bowled me over when I called your facility. I was acknowledged by a pleasant, positive, “can-do” voice that cheerfully gave me information that allowed me to make an informed decision. Thank you, Rachael. Give me a few days, and I will be in to initiate the transaction we discussed on the phone. Rachael, you have established a trust with me. I look forward to meeting with you and completing the rental contract. ... Read more

Have you ever wanted to hug your landlord? I do! Let me explain. My family and I have been renting storage lockers since 2018, when the lockers were owned by Cache Valley Storage. We rented a 2nd locker closer to home, and closed the first one last summer. The process was painless, and completed on the phone. Each of the lockers were clean and dry and very nice smelling, making it easier to complete the dreaded moving of a bunch of stuff in the heat of summer. Everything was perfectly dry, including papers, clothes, and books. Memories of their joy was restored when we took them to their new home. One of the people I have worked with since the beginning is Rachel, and if I could send a hug over the phone, I would! A question I had about my bill was resolved quickly, with a kind and detailed explanation. I am never afraid of asking Rachel a question, because I know she is a compassionate and selfless person. ... Read more

Blake got me all set up. Quick and painless, very professional, and he explained all the details very well. Storage unit clean upon arrival. Update: Initially this seemed like a great property, but three months later, I just received a notice that my rate will go from $83/month to $163/month. Extremely dishonest. I'll be cancelling and moving somewhere else. Update #2: I went in to tell them I was going to be moving out, and I was told that sometimes marketing messes up and that I should always contact them when I get a letter telling me they're doubling my rent. They made an adjustment and only raised my rent $11/month. I prefer the companies who don't play games with their customers. The property is clean, but with these current events, I can't give them any more than 3 stars. ... Read more

I chose this storage facility because of it's close location to my home and business, the well done website, the ability to rent and sign the contract online, and that the listing said the premises were locked up during the day with key code access during the day. Choosing, renting and contract signing went off without a hitch. I got a confirmation email with the address, unit #, and gate access code. However, when I arrived to start loading my unit (Jun 3, 2023), the regular gate was blocked off and and the auxiliary gate was wide open, freely available to anyone who wishes to enter the property. The property is not currently locked up as advertised. I tried to find my unit but the number I was sent (PP031) did not match any units. The units are labeled in a weird pattern with many of the labels worn and hard to read. I found a unit labeled PP but it had a lock on it already. I found a unit labeled 31 but it also had a lock. I drove around and around for 20 minutes trying to figure out which one was mine. The buildings are not labeled either as I've seen with other storage unit properties. I finally called the help number (during working hours) and had to leave a VM because no one answered. I waited another 10 minutes then left another VM. I got a call back a few minutes later. The representative said that their computer system has units labeled differently than what they're physically labeled and explained where my unit was.. There are two units labeled 31. (None are physically labeled PP031.) What?? How are new customers supposed to figure out which one is theirs? She then sent me a map to find the proper unit. I suggest that the company can provide a better customer experience by ensuring that emails sent reflect the unit number they will see when they arrive. Add labels to the buildings and fix the physical unit labels or improve their labeling system. Also, they could always send a map of the units with the rental confirmation emails. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Extra Space Storage - 365 West 100 North has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Extra Space Storage - 365 West 100 North can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 180 to 600 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Extra Space Storage - 365 West 100 North come at a variety of prices, starting from $131 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $215 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
