Absolutely disgusting and filthy. No running water but they keep the bathroom open so people can poo in the toilet and leave it stewing. The problem is so bad the entire building smells rancid. I have made staff aware of the issue on multiple occasions and yet they don't even respond. I want to ... Read more

We give the highest possible review to Canyon Storage. We have a space at the location on 3300 S just east of 700 E. Over the years we’ve had storage units in several cities and this is by far the best we’ve encountered. Steve has been quite friendly and has given us excellent choices in the units and sizes of units he has available. The facility is clean, secure and well maintained and based on our experience and shopping around prior to renting from Canyon Storage, the price is the best we’ve found. We couldn’t be happier. ... This place is clean, easy access and all the people we have dealt with are super friendly and extremely prompt! We couldn’t figure out the elevator once cause we didn’t think it was going down (it goes down by gravity so it’s quiet going down) and they were there in 5 minutes and totally not put out that we were dumb! Even helped us get a big item loaded on a dolly. Highly recommend this place! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Canyon Storage - 2065 East 3300 S, available security amenities may include Security Camera, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

    • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
    • Perishable food
    • Live plants or animals
    • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 2065 East 3300 S for specific restrictions and recommendations.
