I absolutely loved working with Ana! From the moment she answered the phone to the minute I walked into the office she has been welcoming and warm. My garage door just had repairs on it and it was still finicky and tough. Almost having to push my move in date however she acted quick and had it repaired less than an hour later. Literally AMAZING. Thank you Ana, you are a true gem ... Read more

I rented online. When I got there the latch was broken. Property manager was not on site even though it was during business hours. The manager never answered the phone or returned my calls. I spent hours on the phone with customer support trying to get another unit that was working. I missed a flight while doing this. When customer support finally assigned me a new unit they insisted that they had to bill me a second time even though I had already paid. I asked to speak to a manager who said the same thing. Customer service manager finally got in touch with a district manager. They sent a property manager from a different site but only after I told them another renter was there trying to break into their unit after also spending hours trying to get help ... Read more

Look into alternatives—there are more honest operators in Salt Lake City offering better rates without the bait-and-switch. Sadly it just doesn't matter how kind a property manager is if Public Storage preys on it's customers. I’ve rented a 5x5 unit here for a couple of years. When I first signed up, it was about $60/month. That unit is now costing me $142/month, even though the exact same unit is currently listed for $42/month online and $68/month in-store. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, they offered me a $20 discount—which still leaves me paying more than triple the advertised rate. I was told there’s “nothing they can do,” even though I’ve been a reliable, long-term tenant. One customer service agent hung up on me after yelling at me. Their solution is to have me move into a BIGGER unit for half the price. This kind of pricing model is exploitative. The company clearly banks on tenants being too busy, tired, or logistically unable to move their things to fight back. Don't do it. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 1560 West North Temple has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 1560 West North Temple can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 100 to 760 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 1560 West North Temple come at a variety of prices, starting from $148 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $455 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
