Honestly I'm not too sure why all the reviews on this place are as bad as they are I don't think this place deserves the low rating that it gets, the prices are relatively cheap for Washington standards it is around 90 a month for the cheapest unit the owner is extremely respectful and more than caring towards the clients he has given and shown me more respect then I have to him overall he is a very professional person and I could not recommend his business enough for first time storage unit renters! 5/5 Safe, clean, affordable and business hours are relatively flexible! Thank you! ... Read more

Secure and won’t break the bank! I have used OLF Storage for a while now as an extension to my garage. Father and son duo that own the joint are nice guys, and accommodating. Gated keyless entry with cameras that make you feel your belongings are safe! Always someone around. ... Read more

YOUR THINGS WILL GET SOLD WITHOUT NOTICE (or “stolen” as the owner says) IF YOU LEAVE THEM HERE. The owner will say they got stolen, but there’s way too consistent of a pattern for the crime to be that rampant. OLF is the only place on the island I’ve ever had anything of mine go missing. I’m guessing the other Yelp reviews on here are friends of his trying to get his ratings to look good. This has happened to me twice at OLF, and here is my most recent experience: I had been storing building materials in a unit for a few years for a project that had been on hold because I’ve been traveling a lot for work. I moved most of my things out, but left a $4500, 500lb hotel grade wood stove and a claw foot cast iron bath tub in my unit thinking I’d be back in a week with help because they were just too heavy to move alone. My wife was pregnant and we wound up needing to have a c-section, so for several weeks I was more concerned about taking care of her and our new baby than dealing with my wood stove and tub. When I went back to pick my things up, there were new locks on my unit. I texted Mike, who said “I moved your tub, you can come pick it up any time. I have knowledge of a wood stove”. This is interesting for several reasons: a. I didn’t give any notice that I was moving out of my units. Why did he go into it to move my tub? Does he just go into everyone’s unit to check to see what cool stuff is in there to sell? HE DID NOT CALL OR GIVE ME ANY NOTICE THAT HE WAS GOING INTO MY UNIT. b. Where did my $4500 wood stove go? The thing is 500lbs…you’d need a truck with a lift gate to get it out of there plus a couple guys to help. This is not something that just walks away. The most likely thing that happened is that he went into my unit without notice, decided to keep or sell my wood stove, and just hadn’t gotten around to selling my tub before I arrived. He posts lots of things for sale, so I’m guessing he treats people’s stored items as his inventory to sell. Experience from five years ago: I stored a 26-foot trailer here with several hundred dollars worth of tools in it. A few months later I went back to check on it, and EVERYTHING was stolen out of it. All the tools were gone. They even stole the trailer lights off the back. He said it was thieves living in the yard (if there’s so much crime here, why are there no cameras?), which at the time I believed him. At this point with my most recent experience, I think it was probably him. But even if it wasn’t him and crime is such a serious problem here, why has he done nothing to correct it? So, I’m an idiot for storing things there a second time. And you’re an idiot of you store anything there yourself. If it’s not bolted down and has any value, it’s gone. I’ll file a police report, but there’s not anything I can prove. I posted a Yelp review about the trailer experience. After a few years he said he had the problem fixed and asked me to pull it down, which I did. I am SUPER sorry to the community for pulling the review down before because this is clearly a regular pattern of behavior at OLF. I hate to think how many other people have been ripped off here. ... Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Olf Storage - 17738 State Route 20 has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Olf Storage - 17738 State Route 20 can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 60 to 600 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Olf Storage - 17738 State Route 20 come at a variety of prices, starting from $83 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $312 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
