I'm not an easy person to rent to. I'm in my unit at least three times a week, typically for an hour plus. I've also not made it out on time on several occasions and had to call the emergency number to be let out. I'm sure that's the last call an employee wants to get after work. I've gotten upset a few times about things that I felt didn't need to be addressed but were made an issue, however I'm not gonna run online and badmouth a company because of some minor disagreements. I really can't say anything bad about this facility. They have the typical gate hours 6am-10pm 7 days a week, have all the supplies you would find at a storage facility available for sale, 8 carts for moving your things, I believe 8 covered parking spots right by the elevators that a moving truck can fit under, have u haul rentals, and they even have 2 bathrooms outside the office available during gate hours which I haven't seen anywhere else. They do hit you with a rent increase once a year which seems to be the norm, tho they did allow me to switch to a different unit that was the same size which actually lowered my rent the first time I got an increase. They also wave one late fee a year which was recently brought to my attention which was very helpful. I feel my things are safe hear as I always prefer a unit in the building above the ground floor, but they also have a good surveillance system, and the location would deter a thief as it's right on 172nd across from Walmart. The building does get a bit warm in the Summers but I would prefer that to the opposite in the winters. So if you're looking for a storage unit this place wouldn't be a bad option. Also I wouldn't mind you using me as a referral so we both could save a little money but that's entirely up to you. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Smokey Point Self Storage - 15414 Smokey Point Blvd has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Smokey Point Self Storage - 15414 Smokey Point Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 360 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Smokey Point Self Storage - 15414 Smokey Point Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $69 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $702 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
