Read some helpful reviews of Chain Lake Self Storage at 14911 Chain Lake Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

They have you put an emergency contact, I thought it was if something happened to me they will contact that person to come get your things and such. But I learned it's for their money safety. The safety of their pocket book. They contact your emergency contact if you're late on paying. Then, when you try to pay the full amount your behind, they add the next month in to it, that you are not late on and claim it's a partial payment and refuse to take it. Then it only takes them a few weeks, and your stuff is sold. I understand they've got to make their money. But sometimes people go through a hard time. Like loss of a job, taking on a sick family member who could have cancer or a brain disease, etc.., getting sick with covid, and ending up in the hospital. So many things. But none of that is their problem. It's ok. It's just stuff, anyways nothing but stuff we don't need. And our fault because we had to pay for more important things in life. ... Read more

I lived in Monroe. U-Haul wanted me to drive to Whidbey Island to pick up a truck and then Bremerton for a car trailer. Absurd, Penske got me a truck and trailer within 24 hours and relocated it to Monroe. The end of the day was only about $100 more. I will never use U-Haul again and only use Penske. ... Read more

I just utilized this storage facility for several months. After we had the paperwork filled out and I got my keys/code, it was super easy getting in and out. I facilitated the moving truck here as well and everything worked out just fine. The staff I talked to were kind and helpful. I once had a hard time getting my code to take to the keypad, and I was helped promptly and professionally. I would recommend this facility. It is straightforward (when they have units available), affordable, and exactly a storage facility. If I need a storage unit again, I would consider using Chain Lake Self Storage again! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Chain Lake Self Storage - 14911 Chain Lake Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Chain Lake Self Storage - 14911 Chain Lake Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Chain Lake Self Storage - 14911 Chain Lake Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $95 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $450 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
