I literally have only rented this place for a few months. By my fault, it being during Christmas by payment was literally due Christmas Eve, I missed a payment. They lock your access the site of payment and out a lock on your unit without telling you and they charge you 20 dollars in late fees. Not only did I call and ask after realizing this the staff was rude and stated "so are you gonna pay me". I asked when the next late fee would be charge so I knew when I needed to pay it before it went up agan. They state that late fees are applied 10 days after due date. My payments are due according to them the 24th of the month I called on the 4th exactly ten days after. I went into the place on the 10th to pay it. Turns out they as the owner I mean who I spoke with can charge you whatever they want and any late fees whenever they want. They added another late fee on top of it making it an extra 40 dollars just because they were mad? It hadn't even been another ten days, but 5 since I spoke with the lady on the phone. Not only were they so rude and unprofessional but he screwed me over and had apparently already seemed content with doing so since I didn't pay his girl on the phone when I called. Not only did he tell me to leave and not pay it cause he didn't care, knowing fully well he had my stuff, but he tried questioning me as a person and argued that he didn't care since I was apparently rude to his lady on the phone already and he "knew who I was before I walked in". Not only was I rightfully asking where and how they can charge me more, I was in Navy uniform, sick and simply went in to pay my account. This is the worst place to rent and would stay away from it! They are rude, unprofessional, and worst lack good character and trust. I have rented houses and places for years all throughout as I've moved around while being in the military and never once have I had a problem. I asked him when is the last day to get my stuff out and not be charge and when I needed to notify them of moving because I am ending my lease and will not be using this place ever again!!!!! Its over priced for a storage locker size and not worth it all!!!! ... Read more

Owner was going to auction my belongings with zero notification, I received the letter 1 month after closing my account. What's worse is I physically talked to the owner and another staff member on 2 occasions and neither told me of the plan to auction my belongings. Buyer beware especially if you are going to get deployed and wont be available to resolve issues as you will come home to an empty unit! Be careful as the scam is they will take your credit card details but if you don't specifically say you want autopay they will just not charge you and proceed with auction! ... Read more

Rented a unit here for several years as there were no openings anywhere else at the time for a large trailer. Our outdoor spot was often used by other “tenants” and we were told to “just park next to it” and they would just come shift the ratty buckets used to mark the spots. We discovered this to be the case when we’d return to get the trailer or check on it. They tried to rent the spot out again while we were still using it once during a long trip because they assumed we weren’t returning even though we had made no arrangements to cancel. When we did cancel they stole a months worth of payment because they claimed they could not refund it. When asked what kind of effort was made to actually refund it ( as we had informed them well within the “24 hour period” they had to cancel the payment, and was told “every effort would be made”) the office lady became belligerent and told me “you shoulda let us know sooner. Who waits till their rents due”. At this time we were moving and hadn’t had the trailer there since July. It was literally the earliest we could get in there to “check out”. The staff there is atrocious. There is zero customer service. Do not expect any. Ever! If you can store your belongings anywhere else, I suggest you do that. You will end up paying for a spot that others are using as well and be over charged and continually charged long after you are gone. ... Read more

Gate Hours: 0600 to 2200 Office Hours: 0900 to 1730 (Saturdays 1700) Love this storage facility. Very clean, the employees are nice and helpful, and climate always seems controlled (as in the name). There is also a timer light within the storage unit for when it is dark. The only thing I wish is for the gates to be 24 hours (for those with odd hours), but I know that's for our own security. ... I stored one of my vehicles here for the past year. My vehicle was safe during it's entirety of being stored here, and having a gated community, as well as cameras definitely made me feel comfortable in storing my vehicle here. Every time I spoke with somebody in the office, they were very polite and professional. Great pricing for storage without sacrificing any safeties and while still providing excellent service. Thank you again for being awesome! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that AAA Climate Control Mini Storage - 2320 NE Goldie Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
