Read some helpful reviews of Self Storage at Chapel Hill at 6615 Chapel Hill Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

During an extremely difficult time in my life, after losing my mom, Bianca truly became such a blessing. Managing everything that comes with a loss is overwhelming, but she made this entire process so much easier for me. She was patient, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. She took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. Her kindness and professionalism meant more to me than she will probably ever know. I am truly grateful for her and highly recommend this storage facility — especially if you have the chance to work with Bianca. ... Read more

I love this storage place, they are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and the best in town, Aidan really went above and beyond helping me navigate a few things - and I couldn’t have appreciated that anymore! Believe me, this place is top shelf, hands down! Ask for Aidan, he rocks!! ... Read more

Great experience with Self Storage at Chapel Hill. The facility is top notch, very secure and very clean. The rates are comparable to any in the area. The employees are helpful and friendly. I spoke with Bianca (management) and she was very accommodating. They ladies there even brought me an ice cold bottle of water one very hot day after they saw me sweating while rearranging my items in storage. I’ve rented a handful of storage units in the Tri-Cities over the years and in my opinion this is the best one you will find. ... Read more

Chapel Hill South storage is a wonderful facility very new and clean. It was a super easy process to book a unit. We even decided to go up a unit size and they had no issue with that. Bianca at the front counter was very professional and nice, every time we came in and we really appreciated it. The best part in my opinion, is that they have a self access code to go in and out. It’s very secured. Would definitely use again! ... Read more

I absolutely love this storage unit. It is always clean, the stafd are kind, and the people who rent are typically quiet and to themselves. I can come here with my children and do things in my unit without having to worry about their safety beyond my unit. I love that, if the employees are out, they always remember my name and offer me and my family water and will even go back to the office to get it. We upgraded from a smaller unit to a larger one and they helped us by applying promotions since we had been a customer already and always made our payments on-time or in advance. I appreciate how easy it is to drive down or even call and work with them, and even Broadmoor Storage (their sister store). The staff is knowledgeable and definitely for the customer, as best as they can be. ... Read more

We've been customers since 2021 w/the same unit the entire time. The price began at $99, this being the 3rd or 4th price hike is now $209 for a 10 x10 unit (not climate controlled). Their website says there's an alarm. I've never seen it so unsure about that.. We provided our own lock. There's a large dumpster on property & tenants are not allowed to use it. I have to haul my garbage offsite. The $209 does not include insurance nor taxes. I've never seen an employee (except to lock the gate surrounding dumpster so we couldn't use it) & was notified of hike via email w/30 days notice. Rec'd email yesterday & new rent price is due 3/1/25. Customer service as mentioned in other reviews is very important. However, functionality, honesty & reasonable accommodations for related monthly charge is another key part. Unfortunately, this is lacking. I've researched for hrs; compared size/price/amenities w/MANY locations. This place is definitely running on the higher side. With what is NOT included in price, they're not "comparable" in my opinion. Perhaps their version of comparing prices is to one or two locations vs being similarly comparable to "area storage units," as quoted in notice. Let me be exact w/verbiage, "When we make rental rate adjustments we consider rising facility costs, facility maintenance needs, facility improvements & current rental market conditions among many other factors." With $209, I'd like a portable cart at my disposal, a garbage can/dumpster easily accessible, climate control & 24 hr access... Oh, check check & check. Thank you for forcing me to compare actual rental market conditions. Prices are increasing everywhere & affecting the consumers bottom dollar, dramatically. I wish I had the option of saving money for my ridiculous montly apartment fee, the cost of gas to & fro work, savings for electricity, gas, garbage, WIFI, etc, by living in apartment onsite of employer. Those expenses would be paid out on behalf of the business & would conveniently include anything incurred in apartment. No? Lucky this place has a lovely, large & modern, two level, 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath w/backyard apartment onsite. Wonder if that savings was considered when comparing business expenses to all the areas of increased expenses for customers?.? Anyway, I digress. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Self Storage at Chapel Hill - 6615 Chapel Hill Blvd has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Self Storage at Chapel Hill - 6615 Chapel Hill Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 40 to 900 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Self Storage at Chapel Hill - 6615 Chapel Hill Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $64 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $839 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
