I’ve been using this storage facility for years and finally moved out this week. They have some pretty shady practices that led me to move. First off, they continuously jack up the prices to insane levels over time. I can understand some level of increase but it just skyrocketed by a lot again without any good reason. I guess they just figure you have enough stuff in storage you won’t be bothered to move out no matter what they charge you. The second reason is that they are either incompetent or just don’t care. There was a burglary 4 years ago. I had a number of things stolen from the storage unit. The burglars used a crow bar to easily pry the locking mechanism open. The facility management promised one of the actions would be to install a metal covering over the gap to prevent prying it open. Seems like a relatively cheap and easy fix right? Well I returned a few months later and nothing changed. No metal covering installed and just as easy to pry open. I asked the facility management why nothing was done. They assured me that it was still in progress and they were close to getting approval to have it installed and would be done soon. Fast forward to 4 years later. The door and lock have not changed. No cover installed. Total bs from them to charge me this amount of money. Lie to me about improving security. Nothing changing and then raising prices even further. Do not trust this place. I only wish I moved out sooner. ... Read more

I needed to reduce the costs of storing my belongings and had two choices: move to a much smaller unit at this Public Storage or relocate to a different storage facility all together. I spoke with John Michael, facility manager and he worked with me to keep me in my storage unit at this facility. Thanks to his efforts, I will not need to move to a smaller unit or relocate. John is customer-focused and willing to work to help his customers. Thank you John for saving me a lot of time and trouble! ... Read more

I absolutely do not like leaving negative reviews literally anywhere, but I really felt the need to do so in this case. I moved into my small unit back in April to store some things from moving. Suddenly they decided to raise my rent $10. For basically a closet sized space. On top of that, they added another lock to my unit without my knowledge making it inaccessible. I understand that I “locked it wrong” but maybe contact me and set up a time for me to get the key for it? Even then, not a huge deal if I could actually get ahold of somebody through the office in the middle of the day. I was there at 3pm on Monday (not even a holiday) to move my stuff out but nobody was in the office or answering the phone. I made multiple attempts and left multiple messages with no response until the next day. The office hours shouldn’t be listed as 6am-9pm. Absolutely false. On top of it, when I did get ahold of somebody they sounded impatient and rude and like I was wasting their time. Maybe don’t manage a storage space then? Never using this facility again and I kind of wish I had known it would be such a headache. ... Read more

Do not leave your valuables here! There are multiple layers of access control, but someone was able to drill out my lock, move all of the stuff to pick out what they wanted to steal, shoved it all back in, then replaced the lock with their own. They have a camera right next to my unit but it seems they do not look for people drilling locks out. This is not a safe location! I have seen other units with drilled out holes! If you haven’t visited please check your storage unit! ... Read more

Came to check on my things about two months after moving and came to find my boxes ripped open. Most boxes were opened and stuff was moved around. Manager on site stated that there weee no camera in that aisle and there was nothing they could do about this. So much for claiming to be a secure space and charging more than $200 for this. 0/5 rating, would find a more secure location ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
