New management; I do not recommend this business anymore. If i could, i wouldn't give it any stars. I have been renting here for the past 8 years, but I have found the new management to be rude, and almost hostile. Very bad customer service. An issue with payment came up, but unlike in the past they didn't try to reach out to me, but put a lock my unit. As a business I need access to my tools and supplies. After closing out they refused to prorate almost a month that was already paid but I wouldn't be using. ... Read more

I have been a long time customer and recently moved my things out of storage, due to moving outside Alaska. I purchased an extra lock from their front office for my U-box from U-haul, but ended up not needing it, so I returned the lock for a refund. The lock was never removed it from package. The girl at front desk said that they don’t do refunds on anything, even unused merchandise, even if you have your receipt. You know, it would help if they put that in writing or advise you when you buy stuff in their office. Deb, the manager, has always been the greatest, but she wasn’t there. However, her weekend employees are not. Don’t buy any locks if you don’t intend to use them because you will NOT get your money back. Looks like all sales are final. I learned the hard way. ... Went to drop a trailer full of stuff off at the unit only to find an additional lock on it that I don’t have a key to. No phone number to call after hours. Incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I expect to be reimbursed for the days it’s unusable. Very dissatisfied. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
