Read some helpful reviews of Square Space Storage at 800 Carver Lane, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

My storage was broken into twice. Management is really no help at all. The gate is mostly always open because someone broke it. I would recommend getting a storage somewhere else that has more security. It doesn't matter what kind of lock you use on your storage, it'll get broken off. This place is really bad. ... Read more

This used to be a well kept storage company. Now, it is rat infested, filthy, and constantly being broken into by the homeless that live in the empty units! They defecate in the units and pour buckets of urine out in the drive. Just nasty! ... Read more

There's no onsite management anymore or they hide. They are overpriced and your stuff isn't safe to store it. Don't get a storage here. You'd be better off giving your stuff away to a church. After you give it away, take the $100 a month or more you'd waste here and burn half the money, get some pet rats and feed them your family heirlooms, and take the second half of your money and give it to someone you despise. At least you'd cut out the time you'd have wasted trying to find customer service with them, paying too much money, having your stuff stolen, and rats eat what is left. Since no one works there they should have plenty of money to get an exterminator, maybe some security, or maybe even do something with their cameras they have up. Don't rent here, go across town, it is cheaper and safer. ... Read more

Do not rent from Budget mini storage at Carver Lane, Jacksonville. They red locked my unit and when I finally got ahold of someone on the phone it was a call center who could do nothing ut take my name for someone to get back to me. When the office finally called me backThey would nNot give me the combination and kept saying they didn't know why they did that, couldn't find the file. I had my reciept for October because I had to go to the office on MacArthur in north little rock on the third because online and phone payment option wouldn't recognize my number. On the 4th of October went to unit and was locked out. Unprofessional. Just Don't rent from here, it's not worth the trouble. ... Read more

None of these reviews are for the new litigious owners/management. 13 page lease, are you kidding? Certainly hope they aren't doing anything wrong, that they feel so compelled to cover anything they can think of up. Best wishes to those involved with them. Update: Not taking enough risks in your life? Well BMS will sure help you out. If you've ever thought it would be a great idea to store your things in a dark cellar, dungeons are cool, or maybe you just didn't get mugged last night; Budget Mini Storage has a treat for you! Dark hallways with no lights, and no doors to the dark hallways add to the excitement! Am I going to get mugged?Maybe attacked by a possum or raccoon? Maybe my possessions will still be there if someone didn't all ready use this opportunity to steal my belongings! Oh how exciting! I need less security and more instability in my life, please let me worry about something in my life that should be the last thing I think about... Thank you BMS!!! I would say you get what you pay for, but they are nearly twice the price now, not hardly in the budget, they don't even pay the light bills apparently. Honestly, do not get a storage here. The exterior storage units are no longer enclosed, and the gate is open half the time to the interior units. They need someone on-site everyday and a working number where you can call and talk to someone who can actually help. They can't do any of these things, and the units are subpar to the competition. The price is nearly double and there is no reason to have my storage shed here any longer, 5 stars down to 1. The extra star is for the years the storage was worth it. Overpriced, low quality, insecure. Check out Northgate Mini Storage. 10x10 for $40 half the price, nicer part of town, and onsite management. Hopefully, BMS gets their act together or sells it back to Red's family. So long BMS, and thanks for all the fish. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Square Space Storage - 800 Carver Lane has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Square Space Storage - 800 Carver Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Square Space Storage - 800 Carver Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $21 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $70 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
