Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 5915 San Juan Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I didn’t catch his name today, but I spoke to a male employee that was incredibly helpful showing me the size of a couple units before I reserved one. Then, once I made the reservation, he walked me in to show me where it was. Excellent customer service and a huge help! ... Read more

I probably can't give the best review because I don't personally rent from here but I went in to ask questions about my deceased son's property that was in a unit being shared with his step brother. I was shocked to go into the "office" and find nothing but an empty space with a kiosk to talk to someone on a video screen from who-knows-where that was extremely hard to hear on, even with the volume turned all the way up. They would not give me any information because apparently his step brother is the main person on the account so I have no idea whether my son's property has been sold by either Public Storage or his step brother or if he's still got it because he won't respond to me or anyone in the family. ... Ethan was wonderful and so helpful. He did an amazing job helping me with my reservation and was very thorough with explaining everything to me. He answered all my questions and even lead me to my unit. He made the process quick and easy. It’s not often I get to experience such great customer service. It makes all the difference. Thank you Ethan! ... Read more

In a day and age where most employees don't give a damn about their job, it is exceedingly difficult to find someone at their workplace going out of their way to make sure the customer is taken care of. While I've had a unit at Public Storage, Ethan has made the experience one of those above and beyond exceptional examples . To any prospective customer, I'd say look forward to the coolest and most helpful guy in the storage business I've ever dealt with. To corporate and the decision makers at the desks, make sure this guy stays happy so the customers keep returning. ... Read more

Ethan at the San Juan Public Storage is the definition of customer service. I've never felt so welcomed anywhere, much less a storage facility. This guy made the best first impression and definitely made sure Public Storage will have me as a customer for years to come. If you need a unit go to San Juan in Citrus Heights. Seriously! ... This Public Storage location appears to be well-maintained and organized. It’s a decent-sized facility, although most of the units are indoors. Unfortunately, since it’s a kiosk site, it’s a bit challenging to get assistance. Despite this, it’s a good location. Unfortunately, during my visit, the kiosk wasn’t working, so I couldn’t get any help. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 5915 San Juan Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 5915 San Juan Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $51 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $366 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
