Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 6380 Tupelo Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

They are right by the freeway which is very convenient & it's so much cheaper than a lot of storage facilities, they're helpful. Over all it's a good facility. In my opinion because it's become an issue so many times, they close the gate super early 6pm. Which is really hard if you work till 5:00. I've seen them tell people with Uhauls driving for hours or multiple full truck loads & no place to park that they are SOL because the gates just closed. It really does make it such an issue that it's something to consider before renting. One other annoying issue I found is if you don't bring your own Dolly or some sort of cart, it's going to be super inconvenient hiking back and forth to your unit one box at a time or maybe just annoying. It's mostly inside units & they have very few entrances, you have to unlock it every time. Thankfully they have an app & you can use your phone but since it's pretty big inside so you may have one heck of a walk. They say they offer cart's but I have only seen 1 on my first visit so definitely bring something to help you out. They are really good at checking the units & making sure things are good & they have always been really helpful except for gate times. ... Read more

Came in to return a lock for a unit in Florida (after a manager misinformed us we would have to return the lock to a local facility in California) Breanna was so helpful and understanding when she helped us! She was appalled to hear how the staff in Florida handled the situation and made sure to document everything for us for any future reference needed. Breanna was incredibly sweet and deserves recognition! ... Read more

I recently rented a locker space that had a special going. the special was that the second month was free. the first months rent was paid in full even thought it was around the 20th of the month. there was no bill due on the 1st but on the beginning of the next first an additional payment was required to continue access to the locker. thus the locker was cleared out prior to that day so no payment was due. all in all I paid for the first month as the special stated but did not receive the benefits of the free second month due to the way the payments were prorated. no credit of any sort was offered due to this inconvenience. I would think twice before renting and double check to ensure that any benefit you think you are to receive due to renting is actually received. As a side note the staff, Breanna, is very helpful and courteous when asked for any type of assistance. However this matter being above her ability to resolve was unable to accommodate anything. This still did not detract from her being courteous and trying her best to see if something could be done. Now a days its far and in between that you get the excellent service qualities she (Breanna) provides. ... Read more

Decent place, but not accessible without electricity. It's a decent place to store your things, in fair weather conditions. But as soon as the electricity goes out, not even employees have access to anything and you're locked out of your unit. A PIN pad is the only means to get to the units. On October the 4th 2023, it turns out that this place had a power outage for about two or three days. An employee present that day, standing outside stated that it had been like that for two days. And I'm not sure when the power was restored. The employee didn't even have access to the side entrance. So even if your unit is outside you still can't get to your things. I'm disappointed about the lack of foresight and backup access. I highly suggest you add a means of getting in the old fashioned way, namely key. If you wish to have guaranteed access to your items don't store them here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 6380 Tupelo Drive has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 6380 Tupelo Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 6380 Tupelo Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $25 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $245 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
