My daughter went to the storage unit today to retrieve a box, just to find that our unit had been broken into! She went to the office to report it and found the office had closed early, BEFORE their posted closing time!! No one in sight. We called the Security Number and the police. The contracted security guys were very helpful and patient, and replaced the locking mechanism on the door so we could lock our unit. The Sherrif department was also very helpful. However, the disturbing thing is, the Sherrif that showed up to take our report told us they get called out to this place all the time!! He knows the office manager by first name and said they were just out there last month for another break in report. Even the security guys told us break ins happen a lot at this facility. I guess it's time to find another facility ASAP!!! PS: While we were there talking to the Sherrif and Security, we noticed that the two units next to mine looked like their locks had also been tampered with. When security walked over to wiggle the locks, one of them fell off! It had been cut and was just hanging on the door to appear it was in place!!! So the Sherrif took photos of that unit's lock too, so the manager can call the owner of the unit tomorrow to let them theirs too was broken into....Not good! For obvious reason, I do not recommend this place!! ... Read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews. This place is open something like 9am-5pm. Closed most major holidays. If you are working full time how could you possibly access your unit ? It is also expensive. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. ... Read more

THERE'S ONE EMPLOYEE, who happens to be the manager's mom, INCREDIBLY RUDE AND RIGHTEOUS. She will BLAME YOU for things that you haven't done and will CLAIM it was on camera. Challenge her to view the camera and she's ALL HUSH because she knows SHE LIED. She has the WORST customer service here and she has a superiority complex. ---Your daughter is the manager, that does not mean you can act like you own the place! ***IF YOU ULTIMATELY HAVE TO RENT FROM THIS PLACE, TRY YOUR BEST TO AVOID INTERACTIONS WITH HER. Talk to someone else if you want to be treated with COMMON COURTESY... If you don't believe me, ask the other tenants... ... Read more

The manager/women that answered the phone today was very rude and actually hung up on me. I get not being allowed to discuss certain things is understandable to just say what you have to say and hang up on me when I am still talking is so unprofessional and rude and after reading the awful help reviews for this store I can see that it is a pattern. You would think they want someone polite and friendly to work there because it's better for business or at least take a hint from all the bad reviews. I would have at least been polite.bwow...i am just in shock that a person...an adult....would really act like that while at work and somehow think it is ok. That is very sad . I would never rent here just based off the review alone. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Lincoln Self Storage - 15777 East Lincoln Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Credit Cards Accepted. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Lincoln Self Storage - 15777 East Lincoln Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 32 to 320 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Lincoln Self Storage - 15777 East Lincoln Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $100 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $450 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
