I had an excellent experience with this storage facility. Adam was my main point of contact, and he went above and beyond to assist me with my items. He made the entire process smooth, helped me get everything set up, and even ensured I had a lock ready—his customer service was truly outstanding.
Mia was also incredibly helpful when it came to switching and relocating my storage unit. She made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and seamless, and I really appreciated her professionalism and support.
Alfonso, the manager, oversaw everything, and it’s clear he runs a strong and efficient team. The level of organization, communication, and overall service reflects great leadership.

It was a nightmare. The Rep on duty was all alone and took people out of order. I even spoke up and said I was next, but he took the gentleman before me. When I got to Murphy canyon location he was just starting a new lease with two men. He asked how he could help me and I told him I was there to sign and pick up key. He informed me he had to show the storage to the two man, but I would be next. He asked me to step out of the office so he could lock up but again told me I would be next. When he returned from showing the men around there was now three of us. He let us in and said take a seat he would be right with us. It took him over a hour to do the contract for the two men. The janitor came in and took the man waiting. I said I was next. The janitor looked up and the man started talking and continue helping him. I waited another 20 minutes. When I finally got to the rep named Grayson he pretended he didn't know what had happened. I asked him why they took the man before me and he responded that he didn't notice or hear anything. HOW HE COULD NOT HAVE SEEN ANYTHING IS UNBELIEVABLE. He must be blind and deaf. If you're a woman only go there if you bring your father, boyfriend or husband. They don't see women. ... Read more

On August 25, 2025 I was assisted by Mario and Roberto at your Murphy Canyon location. The customer service I received was exceptional! Although I had a reservation, Mario gave me a better price and unit location than what was reserved. The fact that he did that was much appreciated. It has been my experience lately that people don't believe in customer service too much anymore. But Mario and Roberto have proven that to not be the case. We especially want to give a huge shout-out to Mario and Ricardo, they were both absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond to answer all our questions, walked us through everything we needed to know, and made sure we felt completely comfortable with our storage choice. I’ve been renting two 10x30 units here for over a year. When I first started, the experience was great — the staff was friendly, helpful, and the pricing and offers were very fair. Unfortunately, things have changed.
After about six months, my rent went up. I went to the office to see if they could match my previous price, and the lady there told me she’d look into it, call me the next day, and that I’d “be happy.” That call never came. I assumed the price was matched, but months later I found out I was still being charged the higher rate.
When I went back recently to close out one of my units, the customer service wasn’t the same as before. The staff didn’t seem to care as much, and unlike last year, they weren’t as friendly or supportive. It really feels like they focus more on attracting new customers with deals and promotions rather than keeping their current loyal customers happy.
The facility itself is fine, but the customer service and communication have gone downhill. Promises were made but not kept, and that’s disappointing after being a long-term customer. ... Read more

Let me tell you this, I have had multiple storage units in this area from different storage companies and price. Self storage has been the only one that I have been happy with. They always have staff in office, the staff is always been extremely friendly and helpful. Price Self Storage on Murphy Canyon Rd is the best kept secret in San Diego. The service team is incredibly professional, supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Robert made everything super quick & easy to get setup and started. Then he also met me at the storage unit to help me with getting oriented along with giving me important instructions to keep things going smoothly. Robert is definitely the right person to have on their management team. The other support staff members are also very helpful and friendly.
