Great experience all around! Visited the facility on 16 June 26 to store some of my daughter’s belongings while she is on break from school. I wasn't familiar with the facility but the staff member that was on site went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. She came out and opened the door for me the first time and showed me how to set up everything for any future visits. She forget to give me a lock and hand delivered it to me at my storage unit saving me from leaving everything unlocked. Professionalism at its best! ... Read more

A last minute no show of a prearranged pod
Delivery left me hanging with less than
20 hours to vacate my home. Movers were scheduled but where to go? I called Extra Storage per a friend’s referral. A REAL PERSON answered the phone!!! Dean was super helpful. A prime example of corporate execs completely disconnected from employee and customer experience and safety! I used to LOVE this place; the staff are super friendly and responsive (they still are), it was clean, I felt safe (it's located in a very dodgy area), price competitive (but you need to beware and fight for sustainable increases when contracts need to be renewed). I was able to overlook the difficult driveway and parking situation because of these positives.
THEN corporate decided to renovate with no explanation nor discussion with employees, no notices for customers and it's been a cluster ever since. Parking spaces have decreased, walls have gone up, there is NO visibility for staff, and for customers to see staff and connect, leaving the space wide open for anyone to come in, and now difficult to park and find carts. I feel less safe. It is significantly less convenient, less friendly, less clean.
From what I've been told, NOT ONE exec stepped foot at this location to assess the impact of these changes. I feel so badly for staff who are relegated to an office that is a metal container during construction and will be moving to an enclosed office cutoff from what's going on outside. (I understand a lot more cameras are going in but that does nothing for actual human connection.) They are doing their best but their employer is doing them and their customers a huge disservice.
I'd think hard about renting a space from this location with these changes and this kind of corporate insensitivity and disregard. It's just not as convenient, safe, or friendly anymore. ... Read more

I’ve rented a unit here for nearly two years, and it’s been a great experience. The facility is clean, secure, and I’ve never had any issues with pests (I still keep my clothing in plastic storage bags just to be safe).

I had a mostly good experience here. I rented a small unit for about two years.
The starting price was good, but jumped a lot (to about double) after some time. So I'd recommend fully understanding the pricing structure when you sign up.
The location is a little bit funny in the middle of the city - navigating in and out isn't the cleanest just because of the angle of the street. But there was always parking available when I went, even on busy days.
The workers there were helpful and there were always carts available. The elevator is a bit slow I guess.
The unit itself felt pretty clean. But by the end of my stay there I had some things that were partially uncovered get eaten by moths. The whole facility's units are connected by open air at the top of the units so... just be sure to keep your belongings sealed up. ... Read more

Upon completing the registration process and securing my storage unit for $236.00, all operations proceeded smoothly until I had fully loaded my belongings into the unit. During this time, I was approached by the staff, who informed me that I had to vacate the premises due to an unauthorized entry through the rear gate. I had mistakenly assumed that the storage facility was open on that day and proceeded to retrieve a bag from my unit before exiting. There were no signs indicating the hours of operation at the back gate. I had paid all the fees, including the unit fee, which I was informed would never be refunded, and I had also paid movers $350.00 to move my belongings. Now, I am required to pay all these expenses again, which is unjustifiable. We pulled in with a Uhaul truck with a trailer attached while the loading dock was busy and had no idea what we were doing. Maile and Dean saved our lives.
