we decided today to get a (2) units at the Folex location. Greeted by John upon entering. He was very professional and friendly. He took us to take a look at the unit to ensure it was the size unit we were looking for.
Went back in the office to process the paperwork and he was very detailed with the lease agreement and provided gate and office hours and ensured our access code worked.
Everything went smooth and a great experience. Facility and office was clean and offered us cold bottled water also :)
There were other customers that came in during the process and John acknowledged their presence and kindly let them know he would assist them as soon as he was finished with us.

I visited Jamacha Point self-storage this morning (8/2/25). I'm interested in a 5x5 unit. Ms. Ruby provided the tour and showed me an available storage unit. I immediately signed a lease. The property and storage area is clean, easy to access, secured gate which requires an individual code. Ruby was professional and kind. Her coworker, who was on the phone at the time of my arrival, also greeted me although she was busy. I appreciated that. They were very accommodating to my needs. I needed to get a Big Box Storage box delivered to the facility to add to My Storage!! And the staff was more than accommodating and super helpful with that whole ordeal . I’m so happy that I was referred to them by my brother And even though it’s a little bit out of my way, I feel like it’s worth a few extra minutes out of my way for the service l’ve received with all of the helpfulness, accommodations, and their customer service which is excellent in my opinion. ... Decline in customer service/operations , lizards are around which I hate and concerned might have one sneak in , musty smell in some sections of the buildings and sure they cant control what people store in their units but you would think if you walk pass an area for months and can smell a scent death maybe you should send emails/calls to those particular units to at least check, they make you uncomfortable and you have to ask to use the bathroom and lock all 3-4 that they have so you have to go to rancho san diego target, staples or somewhere else in case you have to just pee but I see some people have peed on the side of the building which is probably a potential health risk . I dont blame him though So odd is also why would they want you to ask for permission for a bathroom - this is not elementary or highschool It seems as if they just dont like to work too much and/or their heads want to save plumbing cost but what are they doing w/all the money cause the units are not cheap and they love to increase. I do not know but I think this perfect star rating is a sham because they seem to not actually publish or delete any negative reviews cause no business ever has no complaints (this is in reference to their actual webpage) Then when they do finally work, they knit pick the smallest, dumbest things. Long story short - it is just ok and the gate hours are not that great either for the price. Another weird thing is their elevator doors close on you in like 2 seconds. They do not think to double check the timer function on it and I am so surprised they have not been sewed for an injury yet. They don't really help or do anything so I have no idea why they are also closed (gates) for holidays. When you are there on a regular day or not , they don't actually do anything except look to sign up more people but yes sorry , just selling the product and then whatever after seems to be It seems like everyday is a holiday for them anyways. Also some weird people, especially men, are around there like ID TV for real. and some times it looks like a daycare. And last but not least they often , but I think it is a specific employee, than start blasting some ridiculous music in their buildings and it is so damn loud you will get a migraine. They actually do even think about the biased music they play or at least that's what I noticed in some instances. I think it is another one of their deterrent methods to have nobody there so they can ca doing no work . Update 4/8/2025 A special shout out and kudos to Melany who really is the icing on the cake. I had to do another transaction for business purposes and Melany, a newer edition to this staff, not only went above and beyond to help me - she exceeded my expectations with her efficiency, professionalism, empathy and anticipating all my needs. Mel has outstanding work ethic and extremely considerate and ALWAYS working and humble! Always positive regardless if assisting w/site maintenance and cleaning to completing detailed paperwork for transfers and storage purchases etc., Her phenomenal demonstration of excellent customer service and showing how this entity respects and values customers. I had to take the time out to update my review and recognize her especially because with her and Marie etc., are always able to problem solve and make this a great storage facility to do business with - thanks again!
Marie and Eliana are the most amazing people ever! Marie is the new manager and Eliana is also newer to this site and what fantastic selections! These ladies/staff are PHENOMENAL and have implemented some changes that really show how much they care about the customers in every possible way! Additionally, they do a fantastic job monitoring the property while still giving tenants their space. The prices are wonderful, the facility is extremely organized and they go above and beyond to ensure the site is clean and safe with any resources available for customers in need.
