Ronnie was a great and efficient help to us in our time of need. We needed to move stuff out of our house for renovations for a short time(flooring and painting) Easy to deal with and grateful for the easy PIN number access. ... Read more

Very poor management and super hostile dude. The minute you advocate for yourself or say something he doesn’t like he will absolutely go off on you and threaten to limit your gate code. I highly recommend you all look for a different facility there’s no compromise with the manager here. ... Read more

Poor and inconsistent communication about what is and isn’t allowed. Manger is unnecessarily hostile. I understand that they have rules to follow; what’s frustrating is that they are not clear about what those rules are. For example the manager said we could not be in our unit pricing inventory and taking pictures but when i emailed them i was told i can “if it’s only a moderate amount” which is vague and not what the manager said to me in person. ALSO they left a paper on our unit (see picture) saying that they would be pouring asphalt and that u must cover your belongings in the unit with a tarp so that debris doesn’t get on them… and that anyone paying for a parking spot had to move their car and that they don’t know when it will be done which I think is ridiculous. They gave less then a weeks notice for this and I think there should be compensation if you are going to force ppl to remove their cars from their paid spots for an unknown amount of time. They apologize in the letter for short notice but the top of the notice is dated 3 weeks prior to when they actually posted it, so I’m wondering why they didn’t notify us earlier if they knew that they would be doing these renovations. Really disappointed with the communication and don’t recommend. There are other nicer units in the area for cheaper. ... Read more

I just started renting here, and I have to sing the praises of this location! The unit I have, and many of the others have an actual light inside! I can't remember ever having a light inside a storage unit before! The facility is clean and well-maintained. There is a water dispenser and a microwave inside the office that you can use. They even have a few dumpsters on property that you can throw some trash in. Most storage facilities won't let you do that! I even got a free mug! There are restrooms near the office. They also have parking for RVs and other recreational vehicles. This is all around a great place to store your stuff! ... Read more

My wife had a unit after the Marine Corps for 19 years here. After her passing I came out to collect the momentos and dress blues. The staff was courteous and helpful as they had been for the past 19 years. It was like opening a time capsule. Everything was exactly like it was the day she locked it up. The facility was very clean and they had dumpsters available to discard unwanted items. Thank you Rancho San Diego Storage for 19 years of secure storage of the memories. ... Read more

I've been there since 2014 when David was a manager it was so nice. Now there's a new manager not friendly. Is all about getting people evicted not willing to work with the tenants. I'm serious going to get my things and move. ... Read more

Rancho San Diego is my only place for storage needs. The staff is super friendly, the prices are reasonable, the perimeter feels secure, and best of all it’s convenient. With the recent option to open the gate with an app I’m more than satisfied. I highly recommend this business for your storage needs. ... Read more
