Read some helpful reviews of Circle S Storage at 6155 Templeton Gap Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

We parked our RV here for several years. The problem we had was all the dust and dirt we’d get inside our rig. The parking area is nothing but dirt and grass. The people who run the place are great and it’s a bit cheaper than other places. The location is very convenient. Our new place has eliminated the dust and dirt issue. ... Read more

For me, it's a great location and they have very reasonable pricing. There have been times that I wish they were not closed on Wednesdays, but it's not a big issue. The access road could use some additional upkeep. It tends to get some large ruts that fill with water and turn into muddy holes after rains. A truck load of gravel would easily fix the problem. Overall, I'm quite happy with the storage lot. ... Read more

If I could give negative stars, I would give them -100!! After being a loyal customer for over 5 years with multiple vehicles stored there, my wife and I were yelled and screamed at by the (non employees) that work there. That’s right. No one that works there is an employee!! Apparently they show up there every day, take people’s money, check vehicles in and out but aren’t employees!! We went to get our boat on a Sunday morning not realizing they didn’t open until 1pm. Yes, 1pm on Sunday. Online, it states they open at 7am. They have a policy to allow after hours removal for a $30 fee. We were willing to pay that so we knocked on the door to get our boat. We were immediately, verbally attacked by the on site person (Dan) who proceeded to scream and yell at us that he was going to a funeral and that we know the hours of operation. We showed him where it shows 7am online and he said they didn’t put that there and it was wrong. Ok. No problem. We’ll pay the $30, just give us access to our boat. After 10-15 more minutes of abuse and telling us he didn’t work there. (That’s right. He doesn’t work there. He just takes your money and checks you in and out. No idea how that works.) he finally opened the gate and let us get our boat. Then, when I went to take the boat back, a different person (Don, also not an employee) SMH!! was there to defend Dan and proceed to tell me that I should just take my boat somewhere else!! 5 years! Thousands of dollars paid! I told him this is not how you treat paying customers and that i was going to leave negative reviews. He said “I don’t care. I have plenty of other customers”. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a storage facility. Most unprofessional and uncaring people around. ... Read more

I've stored a couple campers and a boat here for several years. Don and the rest of the staff are friendly and this is a great place with down-to-earth great people. Also I like that they are not nasty if you're a couple days late on the rent they call and give you a friendly reminder and ask you to stop by when you can- ... Read more

Just had a major issue with Circle S Storage. After an average Colorado storm one of their covered boat storage sheds blew on top of my camper and totaled it. Insurance agent called the owner (an attorney) to see if we could work something out and he told her to file a claim with God. He refused to give her any insurance information and told her they were self insured. Unbelievable. Looks like I will have to hire an attorney. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Circle S Storage - 6155 Templeton Gap Road has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Enclosed and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
