I have been here for a year now. I have been very happy with this storage facility. The maintenance has been very good, snow removal is excellent. The only problem is that I am a long term renter and they raised my rent 2 times this year. I was originally paying 185.00 for a 10 x 30 which was an excellent rate but to go from that to today of 309.00 is a bit much. You would think that they would give a decent rate to someone who is always on time with the rent and is considering 5 years or more a more stable rate. To raise the rent 2 times in one year is ridiculous. I am considering other options unless they can propose an offer that I can work with. ... Read more

DO NOT use this storage!!!! Why? They will raise your monthly payment to use the storage. First, it was $35..then it went up to $55. The staff there are so sneaky and nasty. I asked staff to help me drop dresser in the chute. He said no cos his back is hurt. I said fine... I drag it myself. Staff is jot willing to help you, is the bad one! U must have a staff helping anyway! He said to leave by chute. I said fine. I happened to see a guy who walked in and he helped me bringing it to the chute cos the chute was locked. The staff could not let any of us to put anything in chute, but their own damn trash is a suck business. Chute belongs to the damn storage and shld be for us customers also. Not just for those stinky staff. They don't even have light in hallway to see inside the storage. It is too dark to work there. This storage is a big no no no no!!!! Do not use this storage at all! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Colorado Springs Self Storage - 3132 Mallard Drive has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Colorado Springs Self Storage - 3132 Mallard Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 49 to 120 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Colorado Springs Self Storage - 3132 Mallard Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $19 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $189 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
