Read some helpful reviews of Colorado Springs Self Storage North at 330 Karen Lane, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Horrible business. We had 1 unit for LESS than a year & another for a year and rent INCREASED on each unit THREE TIMES. Each time it increased was for same reasons, yet nothing changed—same cameras, no added security cameras, same black tar or whatever—not even done to entire storage property. The other reason was improved office space—-that must be really nice by now. We also broke a glass container and low & behold a lock was on the dumpster!!! We couldn’t even throw the broken glass away!! We called them & they said no one was allowed to use their dumpster that sits on property. I would never recommend this place & I would not believe their move in special prices! You’ll be paying 3x ‘s the initial amount before you know it! You also cannot get through coded gate that auto locks between 10pm & 6am-that time is not convenient for everyone. ... Read more

If i could give 0 stars i would we bought a huge storage unit at an auction and never got our deposit back has been almost a year they claim they sent a money order but I never got it i asked for a copy of the reciept to the money order and never got it. They are very rude. That unit was nothing but junk paid 600$ for it. Plus a 100$ deposit. They only wanted to give me 75$, saying we left a pipe in there when we cleaned it couldn't do the walk through because they weren't there both days we live in kansas so we had to get back. I'm afraid to call because of how rude they are i have emails to back up my claim ... Read more

I would not recommend renting here. You will get bed bugs and diseased infestation of rats. The guy operating this facility will put words in your mouth as an excuse to lock your unit or charge you more. Used to be just fine here with no problems for years but since new employees it has definitely gone down hill. If you want bed bugs or diseased rats defecating on all your belongings to the point thwy are ruined, rent here. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Colorado Springs Self Storage North - 330 Karen Lane has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Colorado Springs Self Storage North - 330 Karen Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 600 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Colorado Springs Self Storage North - 330 Karen Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $29 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $299 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
