I just want to share my gratitude to David who has been so amazing and helpful with my camper storage space. The storage yard is clean, secured and well organized. I feel safe when I go there knowing that David keeps a good eye on the property and knowing that it is well secured. David is easy to get ahold of and is always very prompt with communication. David is friendly, professional, organized, and incredibly responsive. I reached out at an odd hour, desperately needing a secure storage spot for my 29ft RV after having to cut my trip short unexpectedly. Their monthly fee is unbeatable, with 24-hour access to the storage facility. David was ready to get me settled as soon as I arrived, even helping me back into the spot. The place is well-fortified, ensuring that only authorized people can get in or out. I highly recommend! ... Read more

Kept our RV here for almost a year and it’s been a great experience. David is super responsive and made himself available well beyond business hours for anything we ever needed. The storage area is secure, and we had 24/7 access. This was also one of the few businesses to pick up or return my call when I was looking for a storage facility. Many other businesses in the area screened their calls and took several days to call back, but David picked up right away and helped us get into a storage unit the same day. We moved out of state but highly recommend Fort Collins Boat & RV Storage, and would definitely store our RV here if we come back. ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
