Rented a new unit. Halfway moved in. Door stuck open. Customer service says it takes 72 hrs to send someone to close the unit door. They told me i can leave my belongings here with the door open. Asked me if they should call 911 for the emergency after hours. Customer service (if you can call it that) is only for renting units. Maintenance non existent after you've paid them the rent. Update: I asked for a new UNOPENED lock and key as the one I bought from them was not packaged. When the came to fix the door 22 hrs after it got stuck open, they gave me another lock and key which was also not secured. I put the lock on the door and left to buy my own padlock from a hardware store, and when I returned the lock was gone and they took rat poison out of the locker and sprinkled it around the outside of my storage unit. ... Storage place was clean and well maintained. Have to go to Ocala to do all business as no one is at the storage places. It is inconvenient but the young man there is very knowledgeable of his job and is alot of help. He is super at calling back if there is a question. The auctions are very well organized, and rentals made easy. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
