I been with Top Self Storage since they opened back 2021. They been nothing but good to me. The staff are incredible sweet especially the manager. He always knows how to crack a joke. They always have coffee for us customers to enjoy it. Too bad I Am leaving to another state. I always recommend my friends to rent with them and they never regret being with them. Truly the best storage to rent here in West Palm! ... Read more

This isn’t a storage facility—it’s a sprawling testament to catastrophic failure, a place where incompetence and cruelty collide in a symphony of despair so loud it could wake the dead. The staff? Elie and Jen are the gruesome twosome at the helm of this sinking ship, a pair so profoundly useless they make a broken clock look like a productivity guru. Elie oozes a slimy, bottomless apathy that could choke a saint, while Jen’s vacant stare and glacial pace suggest she’s still puzzling out how to tie her own shoes. Together, they’re a wrecking ball of ineptitude, smashing any flicker of hope you might have had into a fine, bitter dust. But don’t be fooled—the real monster here is the faceless, greed-soaked abomination that calls itself a storage company. Their policies aren’t just bad; they’re a twisted, dystopian fever dream engineered to drain your wallet and shred your sanity. Picture this: they slap your storage unit on storage auctions dot com for a pathetic $20 more than the payment you begged to make that very day—all while you’re reeling from a hurricane, buried under emergency home repairs, and clinging to the wreckage of your life. Then, in a stroke of mind-melting stupidity, they won’t even tell you where the auction is or the pitiful minimum bid to reclaim your own belongings. It’s not incompetence; it’s a vicious, calculated gut-punch, a deliberate twist of the knife in the back of anyone already down for the count. And the timing? Oh, it’s impeccably diabolical—like they’ve got a sixth sense for when you’re at your lowest, primed to swoop in and kick the rubble of your existence into the abyss. Enter Errol, the area manager extraordinaire, whose leadership is so spectacularly abysmal it’s like watching a blindfolded toddler stumble through a minefield. Errol doesn’t just fail—he’s a vortex of uselessness, a living, breathing void where competence goes to die. The whole operation is a sprawling, nightmarish circus, a labyrinth of inefficiency and ice-cold indifference that would make Kafka himself weep. Entrusting your possessions to this place is like tossing them into a raging volcano and praying for a miracle. The financial sting is brutal, the emotional carnage is cataclysmic, and the sheer gall of their nonsense feels like a bad trip you can’t wake up from. This isn’t just a lousy experience—it’s a full-on annihilation of trust, a plunge into a hellscape where decency and reason have been torched to ash. Here’s my advice: run—don’t walk—away from this dumpster fire masquerading as a business. You’d get better odds stacking your stuff on a street corner and hoping the wind plays nice than letting these merchants of misery anywhere near it. Avoid this plague pit at all costs, lest you become the next victim of their relentless, soul-devouring chaos. ... Read more

Easily the best storage I’ve had. While with competitors I’ve had issues with bugs, water damage, large increases to rates and overall less than ideal experiences. Top Self, however, have been top class! I’ve had no issues whatsoever since day one and the rates have remained very reasonable. I highly recommend Top Self Storage to anyone with storage needs. ... I've had a great experience here, especially with the staff members Eli and Ashley, who are so personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. They really made my day happier with their great attitudes. The building is secure, clean, climate controlled, and easy to access (if you have the security clearance of course). Just moved my stuff in today, and it was a breeze. Highly recommend! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Top Self Storage - 516 Monceaux Road, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, Onsite Manager, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

    • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
