My experience with Midgard Self Storage has been mixed over an extended period of time and I have been fairly disappointed with the assistance from customer service. That is until today when LESLIE corresponded back and forth with me and offered quality customer service, efficient communication, and demonstrated a true desire to help with my concerns! I couldn’t be more grateful seeing as i have spent a great deal of money with Midgard between multiple different units over the years and never felt appreciated as a customer or supported with my problems. That was a whole different experience because now Leslie has shown me the light! THANK YOU LESLIE ... Read more

Abby was amazing! I went to rent a storage unit and was assisted by Abby, who was a live person working virtually — which was actually really impressive. She made the whole process easy, helped me find a great unit, and I was able to move in the same day. The experience was smooth, efficient, and surprisingly personal. Highly recommend! ... Read more

Lex was extremely helpful in reserving our units. They did not have the size we needed at the original location so she took the time to check other locations until we found exactly what we needed to hold our goods. Highly recommend this company for your storage needs! ... Read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a bunch of filthy crooks. Don't use any midgard. Bunch of crooks. I gave my notice to midgard storage to vacate after I had already moved my things out and moved to another state. I removed MY lock from the locker that was originally on the locker. I cleaned it. The only thing that I failed to do was take a picture of the locker. The associate I spoke with said everything was fine and that I wouldn't be charged after January. I was charged in February. I called and was told I would get a credit to my account for February . Then I was charged again in March and when I called they said it was because I hadn't submitted a picture. I could not submit a picture because I had already moved everything out and didn't know I needed to until I gave my notice and everything else was done. They also said they would send me an email to give me notice that I would no longer be charged, but they have not. ... Read more

I have repeatedly had a horrendous experience with Midgard. I have been locked out of my unit on numerous occasions, stating I had not paid my bill (I had, and it's auto-paid), as well as not being able to gain access to my own unit after they installed the new DaVinci lock system that I not only do not want but have to pay $6/month for. I am also hit with $25-$50 rent increases every 6 months. I am moving out and suggest NO ONE rent a storage unit from any Midgard facility. It was fine until they bought out the previous owners. ... My experience was highly frustrating and time consuming, I highly recommend you avoid this company. I will try and be brief, but the number of errors and level of frustration dealing with the ineptness of this company, its staff and processes need to be documented so others don't have to go through the pain I've been subject too. I entered the building to find no one is physically there, a representative was on a screen. I explained I needed to store a car and followed his guidance. He assigned me a 10x20 and told me they needed to take photos of my car registration and insurance, and that later I would need to provide my home owners Dec page via email. I ran outside to get them, when I returned the system summoned a different representative. After a several frustrating minutes and providing personal info, he was able to find me in the system and I was able to scan the docs, sign and make a prorated payment. I was given the storage unit # and was text the code to unlock. Upon arrival to the unit, I realized there was no way to get a car into the unit, it was made for backing up a truck like a load dock. So I was forced to return, and of course, I was presented with a 3rd representative. I asked for the previous one, I was told he was on break. I had to explain what happened, provide details so they could find my record. I was told to go check out 4 different units to make sure I could get my car into one of them, and to text a number with the unit# to get the lock code. I did this 3-4 times, got a lock code that did not unlock the door! I was forced to drive back to the office a 3rd time, and you guessed it, a 4th representative was assigned. After providing info and explaining what happened, I was told the lock codes being sent were for the initial unit that couldn’t take a car! I was told I had to re-sign and complete new documents as he was only able to move certain ones over from the previous unit. It was frustrating! I’ve now been there for 1.5 hours trying to get a unit and park my car! I get my car into the unit and leave. I submitted my homeowners dec page, and am told there are forms I need to complete. (not disclosed during sign up). I complete the forms and submit them. 4 Days later I get an email saying I need to complete additional forms; they are forms identical or nearly identical to those I DocuSign and completed previously. It’s extremely time consuming and frustrating to deal with this company and I highly recommend you avoid doing business with them unless you enjoy poor service levels and incompetence and hours of time to redo forms. ... SCAM! Prices on website are less than half of what you will actually pay! MISLEADING website and ads! 2nd month free is not true. They prorated me $1.37 for my first month and then didn't call it a full month so they could charge me $58 for the second month and then give me a free month for the 3rd month. Their reply was "I am sorry for the inconvenience." I am sure if I had stayed I would have paid the admin fees and other random charges. DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Midgard Self Storage - 13700 Highway 9 North has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Midgard Self Storage - 13700 Highway 9 North can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 350 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Midgard Self Storage - 13700 Highway 9 North come at a variety of prices, starting from $23 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $331 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
