We rented a parking spot for my daughter and the property manager was very nice and found her safe spot located near a camera. The staff was helpful on site as well as over the phone. 1. navigation: signs are clear and large enough, making the space easy to find.
2. It is clean and well-maintained. There is 1" ditch, so when there is heavy rain, I think the rainwater will flow into the ditch, and my property won't be affected by a potential flood.
3. The staff is kind and very helpful. When I went to the site for the first time, they guided me to it and patiently taught me how to use the lock.
4. The lock looks safe, and the gates use two-way security codes to access and exit.

After visiting a competitor and going through their virtual check-in process, which took forever and left me feeling somewhat unsafe as I had to speak my name and phone number in the lobby where a male renter waited behind me, I left and went to Devon, where I was greeted by two attendants, shown a unit I had asked about, and leased the unit in less time than the competitor's initial virtual process took.
The unit was easily accessible. The doors and driveways were wide enough to navigate, and the unit and buildings were clean.

To my dismay and horror , I discovered my beautiful furniture was ruined on a recent trip to my unit , that was prompted by a letter from Devon,that they were increasing the prices again!!!
I immediately called the on-site manager who came out and took pictures and said she would report this as a incident to her manager who was on vacation at the time. The damage incurred was due to water damage because the ceiling in my unit was leaking. She asked if I had insurance with them and I said I’m not sure because this has been a long term rental and the company I originally rented from the name here has changed several times. At first we could not figure out how the water was getting in the unit as only the floor was wet but the damage to my furniture was waist length high. The ceiling on one side of the unit was puckered and upon touching it , water begin to spew every where. She advised she would have her manager contact me and to date No one with any authority has contacted me. I have left several messages for Ms. Jones the name I was given by an assistant manager whom he advised that Ms. Jones said I should have had insurance. Dear Devon please make me understand how your leak in your unit is my responsibility??? I have paid monthly for my unit in which I thought the contents were secure and safe. I am very disturbed and disappointed with your lack of empathy, customer service and no resolution to an issue that was clearly not my responsibility. The intent here is that someone will reach out to me and offer some resolution for my loss!!!
