Read some helpful reviews of Storage Rentals of America at 3750 Old Jefferson Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

First, the bad (there's a lot) When I first signed up for a unit, I got assigned a storage unit that belonged to someone else. There was no lock on the unit's door, but when I opened it, it was full of trash and junk. (And don't even get me started on the junk rusty cars surrounding the place or the numerous units with open doors and rotting junk laying around. At least one of the units smelled badly of rotting food.) I had to go in-person to the office on a weekday to sort all of this out. The person in the office said that I would be issued a new unit immediately, but it took a few days before that ever happened. Also, when it came time to cancel the unit, that was a pain in the ass. I went in-person to the office to cancel. The person there told me that it would be canceled immediately and that I would receive an email confirmation, but that never happened. The month lapsed over and I was charged for the new month despite having already moved all my stuff out of the unit and removed the lock too. I called into the office asking again to cancel. Again, the person on the line said that it would be canceled immediately and that I would receive an email confirmation , which again never happened. When I called, I wanted to ask if I had to pay for the new month since I had already cancelled before the new month, but I couldn't ask before the person rudely hung up on me. So, I called again to ask if I had to pay for the new month. They said no, I wouldn't have to... but the invoice was never removed from my account and I kept getting notifications that my payment was late. As of the time that I'm writing this review, the unit STILL is NOT canceled. And of course, there's no option online to cancel. In fact, the online portal is buggy as f***. Constant error messages, auto-pay doesn't work, and numerous other bugs and glitches. --- Okay, now the good. I ended up having to call customer support on the phone to get the place canceled. They reached out to the property manager to deal with the situation. About 10 minutes later, I finally got the email confirmation saying that the unit is canceled, and they dropped the extra month's charge. Remains to be seen if there's gonna be any other issues... Anyways, I bumped up my review from one star to three stars. I still recommend finding another storage facility if possible, given the bad experience I had. ... Read more

Place is awful. Unit was broken into. Filed a police report and turned it into the office and they said they would send it off. Called back later to ask about the company they use so I could follow up, they told me I was never paying for the protection plan?? Umm I clearly was because I was told it was required and my bill reflects it. So did you just throw the police report away? SHADY! ... Read more

I had a storage unit here the last 5 years. It used to be somewhat decent. During these 5 years, the company changed ownership more than twice and the price more than doubled from $60 to $147… they said it was to pay for the gate and cameras. Well, the gate has been broken for the last 2 years and the camera by my unit has been missing for over a year. So aka… the security is bullsh*t. The property is currently trashed with garbage and tires. This past month (Jan 2025) there was a multi-unit break-in. My unit was included and I had items (some which were priceless and sentimental) stolen. NO ONE contacted me to inform me of this incident. I discovered this ON MY OWN when I went to put things into my unit on Jan 26, and called the police to file a report, who told me the incident occurred THREE WEEKS EARLIER!!!! Like, what kind of company wouldn’t send out this information to all their renters?! Absolutely astonished that they didn’t contact me. I decided to move out as they could not secure my unit, outside of offering me an another open unit to move into, hahaha (the latch on my unit door had been grinded off). I had a LOT of stuff in there, so I told her if I’m having to move all my stuff to begin with, im leaving this facility! Two days later I took off work (aka I lost money) rented a uhaul (aka I lost more money) and got out of there. As I was loading the truck, the property manager came by and told me as I was moving out, she would take care of shutting my account down. Well, I’ve been out since January 28th, it’s Feb 2, and I just got charged another $147 for February!!! Needless to say, i am beyond pissed right now!!! Another headache to deal with, on top of being robbed, on top of renting a truck (& another unit elsewhere), and losing a days pay at work to move out. Thanks SROA. ... Read more

This facility has gone to crap. For months now, every time I come up there when I can (between 1pm-4pm) there's nobody in the office. I try to pay my bill days in advance with no luck of it happening on time. DUE TO THEIR ABSENCE. Sure I can pay over the phone and pay a convenience fee but I don't have that in my budget. I've sat there for a couple hours on many occasions day after day with nobody in sight to take my money. Y'all either need to hire another person, (I'll take the job at this point) or hire a secondary. If I had the ability, I'd move my things out of this moldy, rat and spider infested facility. And by no means am I saying don't do business here, they may be great for you. I'm just expressing my impartiality from my experience. Hope things change for the better, it used to be great but the last half of the year has been crap. Don't know what y'all did but change it back for the love of God; I'd like to change my review some day. ... Read more

This place in Jefferson Rd is awful. The gates that lock the facilities up are open all times of the day and night with no one on the premises. The property manager doesn't work the scheduled hours. When we went to check on our unit one day we found mildew and mold on our furniture and rat poop everywhere. Somehow someone put rat poison in our unit without our knowledge and without our key. They didn't have a key to our lock. DO NOT RECOMMEND ... Read more

Heather was great and very professional!!! Actual unit could be a bit better due to a possible leaky roof. But you get what you pay for so my expectations weren't high. Overall a decent facility if you want to store something short term. *UPDATE(1/30/24)* Heather got back in touch with me with my concerns and made adjustments promptly to assist with inconveniences. I was transferred to different unit with no hassle!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE THIS FACILITY AND STAFF ??????????!!! ????????!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Storage Rentals of America - 3750 Old Jefferson Road has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 3750 Old Jefferson Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 3750 Old Jefferson Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $26 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $74 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
