Just rented an additional unit at this storage facility. After arriving thinking I knew what i wanted I was met by the most pleasant young lady, Lexy. Jovan at Public Storage is top-tier. From the moment I walked in, he was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. He explained everything clearly, made the process smooth, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Customer service like this is rare these days. If you’re storing here, ask for Jovan, you’ll be in great hands. ... Read more

I stored my belongings here for almost 2 months while relocating. Overall, it was manageable, but there were some issues you should be aware of: – There is no climate control, and Georgia summers are extremely hot. The unit felt like an oven most days. – There was a strong rodent-like smell, and I noticed pest control packets scattered around. I also saw a few cockroaches, which made me concerned that some might have gotten into our boxes. – There is no restroom or trash bin available on site, which made things inconvenient during move-in and move-out. – The price was affordable, and the location was decent. – However, the lock I bought directly from them for $20 broke on the first day, and I had to drive out and buy another one at my own expense. If you’re looking for a temporary and low-cost storage option, this might work, just be aware of the lack of climate control and sanitation ... Read more

Since I have been a customer of Public Storage since July of this year, Ms Dolly and Mr Jovan has been absolutely top tier with their customer service. I have experienced some hardships and Ms Dolly has been so understanding of my situation throughout this process and assisted me in any way she could to help me stay current and update with my storage space. She is the best and if I can her 10 stars I would because she deserves it. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
